Eek! So exciting 🥳 I love kakuno pens and ordered the Madoromi pens in Ivory (fine nib) and Brown (medium nib). I’ve never tried the medium nib so I’m excited 😆 love the gold coloring on the nib, too! Looks so fancy haha thanks for the unboxing 🤩
I'm glad you're loving the Madoromi series! I'm quite pleased with the new gold - colored nibs ! I might get the brown one also in F nib. Enjoying the pens so far and I already emptied the kamoshika ink on the pink madoromi :D
I’m looking forward to Madoromi collection so much! Thank you for sharing yours with us. 😊❤ You even picked the two colors I’m most interested in-though I must admit I’m thinking of all of them, to some extent! Kaküno are so good!!! I would almost say they are faultless! (As someone who has Sailor PGS, PGS Mini, Pilot Custom 823, and even Platinum Century 3776-es! And some LAMY safari, and had some Kawecos, too…) I think their only fault is that they don’t “stay” with ink well; I am often surprised to find them totally dried-out! They are for “this week’s ink”, I think. The plus is that they are BY FAR the easiest pen to clean!!! Also, if I’m being fair, I don’t like the Con-40 much…I do think it better than Sailor’s converters, however. Pilot Kaküno always makes me wonder how such a good writing experience’s nib can be so cheap! That’s famous pilot, for you, I guess! Also, I love the Shikiori ink you used in the pink pen. It’s very subtle. ❤
It's always great to hear from fellow fountain pen enthusiast! And yes, the Kakuno nib is amazing considering its price point - it's a testament to Pilot's expertise. 😊 Enjoying the pens so far and I already emptied the Kamoshika ink on the pink madoromi :D I will try to use my other currently inked pens as I have noticed I keep on reaching out to these madoromi pens for the past few days and totally ignored my other inked pens.. oops!
@@lalunebunny 👍 Nice! If I recall (sorry if wrong), you usually like to use a larger nib, did you say? If that’s the case (and in any case) I’m glad you could enjoy your new pen so much! ☺️✍🏼✨
@@beritbunny that is correct! and now that I have tried the Kakuno's fine nib, I am more open to trying F nib on other pens 😍😮 Especially with very wet/lubricated inks 🥰
Thank you for this video. You really demonstrate the pens well. You also chose perfect matching ink colours. I absolutely love Pilot Kaküno pens and I couldn’t choose from this collection, so picked up all of the 5. Fortunately they are not expensive and I was able to get a nice discount from the website I purchased.
I'm so happy that you decided to use inks that matched the pen body😻 Waiting to place my order when they come back in stock! What are your thoughts on the pilot con40 converter? If it really is as bad as it sounds, what alternative would you suggest?
Thank you and I'm glad you liked the matching inks! The con40 converter only little ink and quite hard to clean based on my experience haha. An alternative I use are the Pilot converters themselves. I blunt-syringe the ink into it. 😻
@@lalunebunny I could tell from your accent, we have a lot of people from the Philippines here in Hokkaido. I have many friends at Church from the Philippines. Also I got the Sleepy Brown Madoromi M Nib pen yesterday, the pinks were all sold out . I paired Iroshizuku Kiri-Same ink with it, Matches perfectly.
Congratulations! They're so cute. Love the gold toned nib. I definitely have the pink one on my wishlist now. 😍😍😍
Thank you! And I think I'll be getting the brown-gray one too. HAHAHA.
Beautiful colors and great ink pairings ✨✨👍
Thank you! I am quite pleased as the pen and ink pairings worked well
yea def taking note of that sailor shikiori ink. not that i need more ink 😅😅
@@Reilith more inks, more happiness! 😆🤩
This collection is really cute! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you so much! I am really enjoying these pens.

TY for this! I was just about to buy my first Kakuno but I am so glad I waited because these are perfect!!! 😆
Did you end up getting a kakuno? Hope you enjoy it!

@ Yes, Ink-quality can matter so much, I also find. 🙂

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ink matches - I had so much fun trying different pairings. 😊 Now I'm thinking of getting the brown-gray one, too :o
Are you in the US? If so, can you let me know that website? Thanks!

Is the grip triangular?
Hello, yes. Triangular with rounded edges as described by Pilot :)
I want one so much! I’m trying not to buy stuff this year but these are just screaming to me. 🤣
Stay strong! haha but enjoy if you end up getting them also
Loved your video. Subscribed!! Do you live in Japan? I am in Hokkaido!
Thank you for appreciating! I am from the PH haha 😊

Does it feel really small in your hand compared to a regular length pen?
not really when the cap is posted 😊
Where did you get ink syringe?
I bought it locally from a pharmacy, online - you may search blunt tip syringe. 😊
