The poster also confirmed that the Lateral Combo is similar to Rise, so we can assume the ??? In the flowchart is Spinning Rising Slash from Rise. Hey Visby. Just wanted to let you know that Reio told me he tried the demo today at Gamescom and couldn't pull off Guard into Backhop. Mikarai and others also experienced this. I'm afraid it's either extremely hard to do it or gone for good.

No...... The PR is from rise and not the sick grab on attack from world?? Man ngl that is really disaappinting. Its literally one of my fav things to do in world and hence sns one of my fav weapons.
Great video! Doing moves instantly from guard is such an integral part of good sns play, so I'm glad that it appears to be in Wilds because no one really showcased it. Same with neutral backsteps. I'm relieved for now.
In one of the trailers they do sliding slash right after an attack so either that has a different way to access it or you can do it instantly from guard

I mean we got two Focus Attacks which is cool, the stab into Falling Bash, and a version with an upward shield bash into Falling Bash! Pointed out in RageGamingVideos.
@@visby_ So the charge slash is basically, you do a sword charge and then you leap forward into a vertical downward chop. In World, before the vertical chop, theres a shield slap as you leap forward in the air. From what i can see after watching these demo, the shield slap may be non-existent. It may be in the less popular hitzone value, but it gave me some amazing moment back in world 😊
Ah, I remember now. While I'm not entirely sure, if you compare the Charged Slash at 1:20 to it's version in World, you can see that the shield does not move in a way that indicates there is an active hitbox, unlike in World where you can see the hunter moves the shield outward for a small bash. In this case, it doesn't seem like that particular attack is present. Of course, I could be wrong, I don't have definite proof that it's not there.
@@visby_ yeah, i was in denial, hoping it actually exist. Funny enough the rise version has the animation but no hit zone, so it threw me off when i played Rise.
I thought about it and if they made triangle the rising slash and circle the sliding slash you would be punished for messing up a backhop by sliding forward, which I could see as more annoying. That being said it still sucks that guard slash is useless. Guess we'll have to wait another game for them to change it.
Because we can't have nice things. It's always like this. Designers design and never give love and respect to their craft. They always tend to go the easy way out. Also barely any SnS players, or IG players anyway, or Lance, so just be done quick with these weapons and give the goodies to others.

No endlag on spinning reaper, manual charged hop, and perfect guard accessibility with spinning repeaer coubter for positioning are very new moves that change a lot on the playstyle, what are you talking about? those shit were useless on rise and manual charge hop didnt exist. Fake SnS main.

Kinda feel like they ruined Perfect Rush. World made it feel like an absolute powerhouse attack, Rise made it feel more like a combo extension. Wilds seems to gone with that as well. Maybe I'm wrong I don't know.
PR was literally fuckin broken in World, and by end game its all i see other SNS players spamming over and over again. PR really needed to be nerfed to make the other moves - ya know - somewhat viable.

They are removing the centralizing playstyles, LS helmsplitter spam, CB SAED spam, IG Jump spam, and SnS Perfect rush spam.

Perfect rush was a band aid fix for sword and shield being low damage in base world.
