    Been running the Halo foams for months and love them! Watched Matt test these tires when they first arrived and I was impressed.

      Thanks! We were talking about what I can build for a video series and I have a couple ideas floating around my head.

    The outer black foam looks like the same material as the washable filter on my wet/dry shop vacuum. Should be fine in the water. I’d like to run vented rims for performance, but there is always a bit of mud or creek action (or snow) where I live so I tend to tape the vent holes. These look promising.

      It does look like it but has a little more body like it won't rip. I would consider these a good rock tire/ hard packed trail tire. The other, more aggressive tire offerings from Ottsix do very well in mud and snow conditions.

      Glad to put it out there. The supply chain is way behind in every aspect of the hobby industry, hopefully it will bounce back sooner than later.

    I picked up a set wit the soft
    Drive feel foams as soon as I could pre order them plan on doing some More class 1 This year since I could finally get a tire from my
    Team!

    • @TheCrawlSpaceColorado
      @TheCrawlSpaceColorado  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right on, the options they offer and the tunability of the foam make it a really good option.

      @@TheCrawlSpaceColorado yeah I went with the soft drive feel in my class one even this it’s a little on the heavier side and it was able to
      Pull some great lines even being a little on the top heavy side I just swapped to a c1 v1 chassis gonna see how it does now at our
      Local comp

    Interesting concept, would really help out with vented tires, as the regular foam does degrade. Love the tips on tuning the rear tires look forward to the testing.

    • @TheCrawlSpaceColorado
      @TheCrawlSpaceColorado  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed, the concept and execution is great/good, I prefer a little more side wall rigidity which I should be able to get with more inner foam installed to fill the tire out.

    Just put a set of the foam ultra air down in the front and yellow 🟡 dot in the rear on my Capra made the biggest difference this for this truck was missing

    I run foamless on a few of my rigs. Depending on the weight of the truck and it's purpose. Works great for me.

      I prefer foam for all y set-ups but it shows that there are multiple set-ups for all different applications.

      Your best bet is check out the ottsix website, I believe they have a breakdown on which foams work best for which tires and the different compounds.

      Thanks! Really happy with the feel of them and looking forward to getting them on the rocks.
      Right, I've had this body since '16 and its survived all these years.
      The tamiya bodies should hopefully be in stock by late summer.
