Most people can follow simple assembly instructions, others can 'see' simple end goals and the best paths on how to get there...you however, are the true artist who can see the complicated and the intricate path it takes to get there. Fabulous work and video...

It's amazing how easy it looks when a real craftsman works. Great work. Great grinder.

Hell yea! That’s not bad at all. If you want to completely eliminate the rocking then weld the old wheel base to a plate of rectangular steel to give a bigger foot print. Well done!

I made a 1" x 30 " sander out of wood scraps and vacuum cleaner motor bearings and a bicycle front hub, a wide skateboard wheel drive pulley and a thin skateboard wheel for the idler pulley. Working on a dust collector system.

Every few minutes I'd go "WTF is he even doing?" yet it all comes together at the end.
We all want to be this cool when we grow up.

Не могу выразить на английском свои мысли. Вообщем дружище, у тебя реально руки не из жопы, даже не из плеч, а сразу из мозга растут, напрямую передают сигнал без всяких посредников. Like, respect from Russia.

I only disliked because he didn't make his own drill bits that he used on the cast aluminum he made which went on the tracking arms he made for the belt sander he made.

When drilling holes,or countervailing holes, the bits are made to cut,or score,or evenings depending on your verbage, for almost forty years I've wondered why people(including myself) before using those tools use lubrication(oil,wd40,etc) IT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE!

  • @mrrberger
    @mrrberger 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Nice work! Was wondering why you did the axel clamp on the contact wheel then welded it? Also would recommend painting the concrete, it's only ever clean once and now is the time to seal it. Good work

That is a wicked build dude. Love the design. Personally I would have put a lip on the tension and guide pulleys to help keep the belt on track as well as the pivot. But that's my opinion. Great design. I could use one in my shop. Cheers bud!

Nice drill press control and speed, can see the shavings are continuous and not purple 👍🏻
A lot don't even use oil to drill although it keeps your drilbits in better shape 😉you do ❤️
Good welding, arc welding (electrode welding {mmaw} ) is one of my favorite things to do 😁
Although MCAW is my favorite, that's also my job 😎👨‍🏭
But the king in my eyes is TIG welding, nothing is more precise and controllable than that.
Although arc welding is the most widely regarded as the most versatile way of welding.
wind rain or weather, even hell bent for leather 😂.

You only need to tack a piece to hold it while you get it squared up. If you have it bolted or partly welded, and the piece is secure, you don't need to keep adding tacks.
