    Excellent videos! They've helped me decide finally to go the freeform route. As a person in their mid 50's with hormones seemingly changing by the day, my hair grows slower now and the texture has changed, but that's ok. I use to have long salon locs back the early 2000, I cut them off to 'ground zero' for several years, now I'm creeping back into the loc family. Thanks for these tutorials, very entertaining and informative.

    Question! Can you wear hats? Fitted hats, snapback hats etc? I love wearing hats & feel naked if I don't have one on..I just don't want to "hinder" anything during the process.

    • @DOMIBOY
      @DOMIBOY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Great question! Sorry for the delay- you can but it will effect how they grow - if worn for long periods and everyday. You can always fluff them up after wearing your hat. But if a cap is worn for long periods all day everyday, and you don’t fluff. There’s a chance Your locs may grow in flat and down- which isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Could be a dope

    • @justinsamuda727
      @justinsamuda727 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's how hair tends to lock up honestly. think about how you sleep: typically on the sides or the back of your head, i don't think anyone sleeps on the top of their head (unless they're into acrobatics or something). Not all of your hair will lock all at once, but with time and patience it will all catch up eventually. hope this helps!
