    Sir! I think your about to change my life! I’m on my second set and very happy with them. My daughter and mother have been locd 5 years now (my baby is 9) and since my dad didn’t go to the barber shop during COVID, I started his locs. Now the game changer is my 10 year old son. He’s autistic. Sensory wise he doesn’t like the feel or sound of clippers. So I’m like no problem, locs it is. BUT he also doesn’t like his hair combed for me to section him out. I don’t have experience with freeforming, but we gonna pray a prayer and try it out. He does love getting his hair washed. So I’ll be watching you for more tips. Way to help a mama out! 💙

    Tea Tree Tingle from shampoo from Trader Joe’s is what I use…. It’s clarifying but doesn’t make the locs dry. The bottle is pretty big so I mix water, dr.bronners, and the tea tree shampoo into a spray bottle to spread it out

    • @darkchild5
      @darkchild5 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also use the Trader Joe’s Tea tree Tingle shampoo. Every shampoo is going to dry the hair out what’s important for me has been making sure that after I partially towel and air dry I get that moisture back to my scalp and locs with a mix of peppermint, aloe Vera, castor oil and spring water. After that I’m good

    I’m a good one month in going into my second month Freeforming, I started off using the sponge about everyday for a month so I could get it all twisted as much as I could wit the natural sectioning! This month I’ll probably just do the palm rolling when I’m washing and rinsing my hair then after that it’s to the races! Ima just wash regular and let it go! When I’m 3 months in I’ll probably make a video of my progress I haven’t made my mind up, I be doing a bunch of other stuff I never make time! I use the therapy shampoo for dandruff cause it’s get a lot of dandruff and scabs from dry scalp and some kind of dermatitis! So it helps wit my itching, So I wash 1-2 times a week depending on how much I sweat and get Dirty at work during the week, But it does help alot! On my regular day to day when I wake up I just spray it with some tea tree oil , Grapeseed and avocado oil mixed in wit water! I got a big tall bottle so I pour about enough oil of each to cover the bottom and alil bit more and about a less then a quarter of the bottle wit water and let it mix and that’s my moisturizer when I wake up I damp it and go on about my day! We going see where this journey leads me !! I be excited for the process so I be pay attention and I get to roll wit a hair style I like and not care to much every day long as I got a clean line up you know 💯💯🫡🫡 👑 🤴🏾 👑 🤴🏾

    How often do you wash your hair if it's about 4-5 inches long & you've already started the loc process in some way? Basically mine are semi-freeform. I'm about 6-7 months in.
