I think the Troy ambi mag release is the necessary piece if you want to run a BAD Lever, since it's the only one that puts the hinge midship on the mag release arm. It seems that all the other ambi mag relelases I've looked at put the hinge or lever on the rear of the arm making them incompatible with a BAD lever.
That Larue mag release is no longer available when I click his link. Do you have any recommendations on a similar option that will work with the bad lever?
I’m a righty who shoots lefty (left hand trigger left eye dominate) not sure how that happened but I’ve been shooting that way since Basic (easier for me to close my right eye?) Been shooting that way ever since
I think a mag release with a BAD lever type design would work great. My index is long enough to reach the bolt release so the BAD lever personally is obsolete but the mag release is my crutch.

@@RedactedGear I have a cmmg banshee and it came stock with ambi controls and they are really nice too. I just got a fostech raptor but no ambi controls so was looking into another set of cmmg ones but now i gotta look into troy... thanks lol
Surprisingly no brass doesn’t get me, it goes perfectly over my shoulder! And I would personally do a 14.5 first then a 16 or shorter. But thats my personal opinion, I like 14.5’s because they are a little shorter but still have good velocity
Norgon is nice used to have one a long time ago, I like the Troy due to the paddle that drops down just a little bit lower so your index finger can be pointed straight out and hit it (if that makes sense instead of reaching up a little bit)

I shoot ambi, and my dad is left handed, so what I do on my lower is I have the Troy mag release pdq release for the bolt release.
