    damn, this is sick. Perfect compliment to the work bench. What's crazy is that when I'm watching these videos I'm not really seeing it as you're making it. I'm imagining it in 100 years, full of scars, but still rock solid. Who will be sitting on it and what they may be creating themselves. What's beautiful about it is knowing that in 100 years they can go back and watch this video. Witnessing it's birth and it's maker, long gone, creating it. What a f-ing time we live in. As always, I look forward to seeing more.

    Been watching your videos for a while now. Been off work for a year recouperating from my forth spinal fusion and all I do is watch videos. I love your watching you build projects you are awesome!! From Nova Scotia! I can’t wait to get in my shop again! I have not done dovetail or worked much with hand?tools always used power tools well watching videos like yours has inspired me to try thank you!!

    Amazing stuff! Although, not sure that a hollow chisel mortiser is a simple, basic tool. Hah!

      You could do it with a drill and chisel, it just takes longer.

      Looks like most of his cuts are slow, controlled, precise. You really have to go slow and be patient but I guess there is always a SawStop, what I'm looking at right now.

    That is a mad crazy stool.
    I built one last year for my workshop out of square stock and it still had 4 wobbly legs and a loose seat lol

      Yeh, my boss had that attitude till he lost top part of his thumb. and he had 35+ years of exp with machines. it wont ever happen till it does. better safe than sorry bud

      +tyvek05 well, as a musician and hack carpenter, ha ha, I would be really bummed out to loose any portion of a fraction of a digit. there's plenty good storys, like the time I DIDN'T cut my fingers off.

      No, it is designed specifically to match my workbench. I used the same types of would in the same configuration and also incorperated similar joinery and design details so they fit well together.
