@@mikepetersen9887 The Kingdom was featuring FBI if I recall, wasn't it? It'd be interesting to see how these guys approached breaking down FBI tactics.
"Stupid enough to get himself into this situation but badass enough to get himself out" hahahahaha. This was one so funny. I loved the high pitch voice imitation and talking about the Tough Book hahahah. No debrief, no medical, just typing it up. Love it. As always, good information in here too combined with the comedy and that's what makes these things awesome.
Beers and Breakdowns is my favorite thing to watch on TH-cam This is not Coffee and Conversations I love the discussion with you guys, regardless of if it has anything to do with the movie or not. I always look forward to these and click right away
Same here. It's the right amount of funny with the right amount of interesting real information. And they don't take it too seriously which is what sets it apart from other "veterans react" content.
@@snowbear163 Exactly, just a couple guys shootin the shit and they happen to have real life experience to speak on here and there. ALWAYS funny to me and sometimes informative.
In their defense during the Invasion that’s pretty spot on how intel was and even how missions went on the side while fighting up to Baghdad weird shit happened.
"I'm collecting intel" "You're collecting something" Dammit yall finally made me dead-ass spit out my coffee laughing. Great stuff, and I never realized how ridiculous this movie was either.
Please do a Band of Brothers one. All the episodes are great (IMO). The one where they train in England is awesome, and then of course the Brecourt Manor fight and Bastogne :)
So, I saw they were doing this review, so I watched the film. I had a lot of questions, such as "Can you just leave your objective (digging holes) No. Can you shoot at people after you break into their house? No. Can you just go off and leave your team, by yourself to meet someone? No.
This was awesome. As a civilian now, I love how every military service member was out there patrolling, fighting the war. I personally have never seen a supply guy get thrown into a platoon but as a civilian, every supply guy I meet was out there slinging lead. Smh
There is always funny people in your platoon, battalion or whatever. I was in a foreign military, but we had tons of funny moments like you guys in this channel.))
I mean hey, the job is to make a movie that sells tickets and discs. If you do that then mission accomplished. Let Discovery Channel handle the documentaries.
I can show you on a map where we 100% found WMD's I can name the col in charge of that mission. CDC personnel was flown in and they took it back to Atlanta..the warheads were placed in concrete. We had found them by accident...
4:25 OMG perfect timing! Right when he said "Everybody is like-" it continued with "What is a woman?" an ad for the documentary of the same name. LMFAO 🤣
Thanx for mentioning the guy withthe two-four-ninety flagging his homeboy. That pissed me of too when i watched it. And back then i didnt even know about tactics.
I'd like to see your react on the "Black crab" on the Netflix because there're quite a lot of move on the ice which kinda stand out among mountain and forest tactics that you already done and react on the trilogy of Olympus Has fallen would be badass
Have you guys done either of the following? We Were Soldiers (200) or The Outpost (2020)... I love the ways you guys talk. It reminds me of my dad and his Army buddies. Plus, growing up around troops all my life.
'go off own yer own...' While in Coburg on the border we had a actual barracks. One night I put on dark civies and sneaks out to DT Coburg for some "R&R". lol Got in a good car wreck and CID got my ass out of trouble. Garry Owen!
this movie went out the window for me when i found out it was a CW3 in charge of something. or even showing up. not even like a 180A, just some CBRN chief. although it was fun to see CPT Steele being a CAG dude
I would never try to equate what i do (I.T work) with military life, and Tier level organisations. But the more you guys talk and review the movies the more of the same sort of problems with representations with my field i find we share.| Hollywood never gets it right, they always try to dramatise it, they factually misrepresent things and swap parts in and out as needed, we have our own impenetrable to the outside lingo and acronyms, things get over explained and explained wrongly while they do that. Love these episode, love what your doing with FNG Acad
*Can you guys review Spectral? It's whole lot of sci fi but there are military elements to it. If it's not content worthy its a good film to watch at your own time too. To me its a good sci fi horror war movie. Anyway thank you for all the hard work. Keep all these amazing contents rollin guys* :)
Ayyyy I love everything y’all do with these beers and breakdowns y’all should do a whole dedicated series of each episode of the series called SIX it’s from the history channel there’s two seasons and I’m curious on y’all’s take on it and y’all should also do an in depth review of the movies apocalypse now and platoon that would be hella dope maybe Kelly’s hero’s or hacksaw ridge but yeah keep doing what y’all do it’s hella dope
So Miller is supposed a Mobile Exploitation Team (MET) leader who is searching for weapons of mass destruction. He's a CBRN team lead. According to the wiki
I'm SO glad you did this one, these are most of the things I've been pointing out to others as to how stupid this movie REALLY is. I'm surprised you didn't point out the fact that the most inaccurate thing about the movie is that is shows a Warrant not focusing on only ONE task and shamming on everything else... FYI, a friend of mine has pointed out what he swears are several airsoft toy guns being used in the movie (one can be seen near the start of the film that has a white USMC bird/ball on the lower receiver)
BEST part of the movie is when the CAG guy slaps 👏 the crap out of matt damon 🤣 @ 17:10 i try to watch this part at least 3 times a week on your channel hahahahaha
You should have showed the clip when CHIEF was in the Command Briefing trying to tell the NCOIC that the Intel was not solid, then a fullbird colonel shut him down with a death stare😅
One if the funniest reviews you guys have done.
"OK so that's murder" 😅
"Your unit is digging a hole clearly you're not that important"
thank you!
Dude I died hearing that bit

Footballs with c4 should be fun! 😂😂😂
That movie was Sicario before Sicario.
For sure! The Kingdom is a great movie, early Pete Berg, nice
Agreed. Great movie. The apartment assault was sublime "tacticool" cinema

Ambush ahead on the back.

Best part of Sunday!!!
glad we can help!
OMG! THE "EZEKIEL" REFERENCE ALMOST KILLED ME! 🤣🤣🤣
Then "So, that's. MURDER!", & "Everybody taking pictures". You guys are a F'n RIOT!!!
Shame they skipped the part where Jason Isaacs SF Team went in, that was the coolest goofy tactical scene in a movie 😂
"I'm collecting intel"
"You're collecting something"

The one where they train in England is awesome, and then of course the Brecourt Manor fight and Bastogne :)
I'd kinda like to see them talk about Generation Kill. I think Kurt mentioned in a previous episode, that series was part of the reason he joined up.
A rating system would be great and add to the series. As a vet I enjoy the laughs with you guys, keep up the good content.
Believe me I had to deal with officers like that when I deployed to Afghanistan twice. They all wanted to be John Wayne.
So, I saw they were doing this review, so I watched the film.
I had a lot of questions, such as "Can you just leave your objective (digging holes) No.
Can you shoot at people after you break into their house? No.
Can you just go off and leave your team, by yourself to meet someone? No.
A failure to plan is a plan to fail !! My favorite part was when Kurt said you're collecting something... soo funny
As someone who was in this actual unit, thanks for clarifying Monty's (Chief G's) point of view.
Love the reactions and comments..

Since you guys got 9-10 in the bag… you should do a special 2 episode drop on Veterans Day
Beers and Breakdowns is HANDS DOWN the best podcast on youtube!!! Thank you!!!
Watching you guys watching the movie is 100X better than the movie ever hoped to be!!!!
I think the most realistic down to earth military show on right now is that SEAL Team series
Especially the most recent seasons
Have you seen the PTSD scene when the one guys in the diner?
"Wanted him to get molested" 🤣.
Here's an acronym for Matt Damon in this movie. PYH. Protect Your Holes.

You guys need to react to Triple 9! Super unknown film, has one of the sickest breaching scenes! Wanna see how realistic the tactics are.
This is one I've never heard of... From the review I think it's best I didn't! 😂 Good episode boys! 🤘🏼
Matt Damon is bad ass in the role he plays in this film. Even if there’s some slight inaccuracies to the tactics that happen within this film. Lol

I’m telling you bro “Free Burma Warriors” is the greatest war documentary for drama I’ve seen! Must see… 10/10
Probably the best and funniest review of this movie. You ever see Danger Close (Battle of Long Tan)
Can you join the mentorship even if you don't plan to join the military?
Good question.
This is probably the movie that inspired Berghdal;)
Also you should react to "the King's choice" Norwegian WW2 flick.. curious to your reaction:)

Do "Tom Clancy's NO Remorse" or Mel Gibson's "we were soldiers once"
