The X-rays saw one of my fused joints flexing and some of the titanium pins flexing as week. But what really sucks is I had to go to emergency with 175/96 blood pressure and tightness of my chest. After 7 hours and a crap load of tests it’s possibly clots in my lungs but I didn’t want to wait for a CF scan so I will take care of it next week.

When doing my blood work the emerg Dr said I had elevated clotting markers, but I was so stressed and I was stuck in this little room for 7 hours and they told me it was 2 more hours until they would know anything. The Dr told me the markers were low enough that even if I was 60 he would still let me head home, but that I do need to look and make sure there aren’t any there so I will rebook the test early next week just to make sure there’s none there.. Thanks for your concern man I suffer from head in the sand syndrome some times or is it head up my ass syndrome..lol. If I don’t know about it it can’t hurt me..lol. I will fill you in when I get the results.

Hello. Sewing thread works but it takes a lot so as to move the ring slower and without pulling on it too much. Floss is way better as you said and easier to carry. All the best.
A word of warning...if you anticipate a hospital visit, then remove your rings before you enter the admitting room. If surgery is required (and maybe even if it is not) the hospital staff will remove your rings and they won't fool around...often cutting the rings off from "fat" fingers.
I should've cut it straight from the beginning, thanks for the tip anyway, i tried it but with no succes and my finger was getting too dark, it took me 1 min to cut it but 5 mins to try this and i did it 2 times Im happy because my finger is free and the ring was fake and ugly...
i bought a Knipex Cobols S just for that. it happened once to my mom and it was a pain to cut it with a file. and no hardware stores were opened to buy any kind of tool.

Sorry to hear it didn’t work, but if your ever in a similar situation try using thin ribbon that works better and is less painful. Take care.

I’ve also got a pair of Leatherman raptor trauma scissors that have a ring cutting tool on them that works great.
