  • If you don't have the Original wire set up nelson performance is a really good set up.

    I found BP Automotive to have the best harness out there since it includes the small fuse box. They also sell the adapter for 99-02 trucks so the AC works properly with the fans. I'm sure the little fuse box is not needed since most aftermarket companies don't include it but I like my stuff being as close to OEM as possible, in the case of BP auto they definitely use high quality stuff so I went with them.

    Great video👍. The harness for the fans has a channel under the fuses that they normally ride in from the factory. You just unbolt that fuse panel and run them underneath.

    Nelson performance is a good harness but I would recommend BP automotive fan harness. It is a little pricier but it gives it the OEM look. The harness is longer and the relays are hidden behind the fuse box just like the original harness.

    Good video. Yea it took me awhile to figure out how to take off the fan. I saw a bunch of youtube videos but had no luck. Took about 20 30 minutes too figure that trick out. I used a pipe wrench to hold that back wheel and the fan came off easily.

    You were supposed to run the wire loom under the fuse box that's the proper oem way that's why it didn't sit right

    If you don’t mind me asking what does this installment do ?

    • @marcfilms_572
      @marcfilms_572  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This installment is just a little bit newer So the Electric Fans come in the 2005 and up! trucks and they just work more efficiently then the old clutch fan. My previous Fan was just 1 big fan and the new set has 2 Fans which are more slimmer and efficiently. They also give a lot more room in the engine bay because the old clutch fan was pretty big and had a plastic cover around it to protect it now with that out of the way you will have more room in the engine bay and some could say they get more power when installing the Electric fans! and tuning them of course

      Any tuner. Look them up bro. Any Performance shop should be able to help you or just go on craigslist and look for tuners. That’s what I did for my hummer H2 I had them tune the computer before I installed everything
