    Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
    Feel free to ask any questions, I'll be reading every comment!
    I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
    Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

    when lining up a cut on a cylinder, use a band ,or make one by cutting a piece of paper in half and taping it together. making sure both factory edges are in line and overlapping the middle seam a couple inches. use as many as u need to wrap around whatever cylinder u happen to b marking

    Strapping the propane tank to the tree to hold it to get the valve out was brilliant. Those valves are in tight. Also, wow your productivity is amazing. I could not do all that in 60 hours. Prototype work is hard and you are good at it.

    The best part of your devices is you can run them from batteries, that means sun energy can be used to fight the plastic pollution. Comparing to all these pyrolysis plants which are run by wood/coal burning, you devices are so much greener!

    It looks awesome and I'm impressed. That being said putting multiple magnetrons together isn't necessarily going to do what you think. The phase of the all of the mangetrons needs to be synchronized. If they are not synchronized the waves from each magnetron will interfere with each other. You could get anywhere from zero power up to 4x power like you are looking for. IMHO you may find that when you run only one magnetron that you get the same amount of heat output as running all four.

      Yep very true unless he's spaced them far enough apart maybe? Total guess, can't recall how long a microwave wavelength is but I would assume that if the magnetrons were spaced further apart than the wavelength than they may not interfere with each other. Again, I'm no expert

    Secure the manway with springs, and you have a puff lid. I would not ignite a charge having it secured with solid bolts, if I were you. We want you to continue to post.

    That's gonna be one mean lean pyrolysis machine. If and when you get around to it, could you measure how much methane/natural gas it can produce from just biomass/yard waste? I'm interested in potential CNG applications.

      @TheCornField_ ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It would produce that Carbon Monoxide-Hydrogen “Syngas” and/or some pyrolysis oil though, not methane.

    • @ericlotze7724
      @ericlotze7724 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Granted if you do want that, an “Anaerobic Digester” (aka Biodigester) is what you want.
      It takes in biomass/food waste (or even Black Water Sewage or Manure Slurry!) and digests in in an anaerobic environment with the right microorganisms. This makes “Biogas” (Essentially impure methane, main things are Water, Carbon Dioxide, and Sulfur Compounds). This can be put into a “Biogas Upgrader” to get to “Natural Gas Standards” of purity etc.
      Really neat tech. I can point you to some designs if you want?

      @@ericlotze7724 yes I am extremely interested in this. My grandparents own a dairy farm and I am thinking of renting land from them and placing my recycling facility there to fuel the farm. They have tons of cows and manure is a large problem

    Great Work! I have a question about the Stainless steel port, how did you source it? I'm looking to build a different pressure vessel for a reaction and Stainless steel would be the best, also one that can be easily opened and closed, and this design seems best, but its been hard to find large sizes, everything mostly is KF flanges...

    Nice , well done. Why not build a big Microwave kiln for it, and coat only a third of it with the heating paste? Then you will have a hybrid microwave.
