Point one. Pippen came in the league averaging 9 and the more he played with MJ the better he got. He was good in college but MJ took him to another level but he came in with MJ already in the team
2. KLove averaged 11 points his rookie year (better than pipps 9) and was a star on his team, he got with Bron and his production all around dropped because love wasn’t a big 3 point shooter, his attempts went up the more he played with Bron and was always in the 30%s
3. MJ left the first time and pipp got them to the ECF you can tell MJ made pip better, KYRIE left cle and ky couldn’t carry a squad at all. The Celtics were better without him, Brooklyn was better without him, mavs were better without him. Bron didn’t make kyrie better, nor k love.
Lastly. MJ made pip to a star and elevated a good Rodman to new heights, we saw that. Bron plays with stars and after they either become role players, out the league, or never make it to the ECF.
No pippen averaged 8 not 9 and pippen did not get the bulls to the ecf. Plus he was comparing a seasoned kevin love when he came to Cleveland to a scottie who got drafted and got better through time.

Losing Cartwright & Pax was a hit to their leadership & key cogs in the development of the triangle system. Pip did not have the mentality to be a leader on a team. Not checking in as well as tossing a folding chair onto the court like Bob Knight are examples of that. Yes, the interior presence was hit with Grant’s departure but I think the void in leadership was just as important.

Here are points that do NOT contradict each other along the narrative of this vid :
A) GMAC saying Pippen became better due to Jordan. While there is no actual way to prove it on paper, it's very obvious Jordan's influence was what accelerated Pippen to become great, this has been corroborated by Phil Jackson, their Bulls teammates and Pippen himself
B) LOW saying we can't be sure how bad or good Pippen would have turned out without Jordan. As crucial as Jordan was to the player Pippen became, we have no way of saying that Pippen would not have had a positive development and what ceiling he would have had even without MJ.
That being said, LOW's Kevin Love point made no sense and had no relevance here because Love was already an established player before he teamed up with LeBron
C) Pippen having his best numbers when MJ wasn't there has less to do with MJ holding back Pippen than it has to do with Pippen being slotted into the MJ slot in the same system that was successful for 3 straight seasons before it. Pippen became the focal point and the de facto 'guy' of the team, but was crucially still not trusted to be the be all end all, which cause Pippen to break down and fall under the pressure.
D) If you say Scottie was better without MJ, you're obviously talking about his stats alone, without any context of the team winning. If that's the case MJ was better without Scottie, and I'm not counting Scottie's first two seasons here, because he didn't start a single game in his first, and was nowhere near being what he would become in the 90s in his second season. MJ's stats then were incredible
-only time Scottie shot 50% in a season or playoffs were with Jordan as his teammate
-Scottie had his highest apg,spg,bpg,and FG% were with Jordan as his teammates.
-Scottie highest scoring season with MJ was 21PPG on 50%. That’s 1 point less than his highest season without MJ 22PPG 49%
-With MJ against the Knicks, pippen went 5-0, without MJ pippen went 0-1
-in the 94 playoff, his first playoffs without MJ Scottie had his lowest FG% of his career at that point 43%
-also in 94 playoffs his lowest apg since his 2nd year in the league.
-his best all around playoff seasons were 91,92 and 93 all with MJ
-with the bulls his highest rpg, apg,spg,bpg, and FG% in the playoffs were with Jordan as his teammate.
-his highest scoring playoff season without Jordan was 22.8 on 43%
-his highest scoring playoff season with Jordan was 21.6 on 50.4%

The point about Kevin love was that in his rookie season he had low points per game just like pipen and when by home self he has better individual numbers but with lebron he had better team success same. Pippen would’ve been a great player. It is impossible for any external force to give someone something they don’t already possess. That is the only issue I have with people saying Jordan made Pippen Better. Yea, of course he had some influence on him. That is only natural, that a great player would have influence on a player that plays with them. But that player can’t actually make them better cause that is an internal thing. Even if you include the Dynasty years Jordan's career record without Pippen is.154-170, including 1-9in the playoffs. He was an old school Carmelo Anthony and Devin Booker.

In fact, Jordan was facing multiple hall of famers while he was the lone all star on his team during those playoff losses, but he was the best player on the court ever time. The Bulls were heavy underdogs in all of those playoff losses.

Charles Barkley never made the Finals without Dan Majerle. That doesn't mean Majerle made Barkley a "better player".
Pippen's individual output and effeciency dropped when he didn't play with Jordan. DWade, Bosh, Love, and Kyrie ALL, on an individual level, suffered when playing with LeBron. They didn't have postseason success because they were never on any teams as good as those "Big 3" Heat or Cavs teams they were on with LeBron.
So, "what have they done without LeBron" is a really dumb point.
