The DualSense has definitely taken the crown for best controller, imo. It’s amazing with its dynamic rumble capabilities and adaptive triggers. It’s a rather large improvement over the DualShock 4. The Series X controller is still as great as the Xbox one controller has ever been (a tad better in some areas, worse in others), but the DualSense edges it out this generation. Good job, Sony 👏🏻

Honestly, I think not having 1440p support really is going to be a non-issue. My 1440p monitor accepts a full 4k signal, so it doesn't require the console to output exactly 1440p. Also kind of effectively doubles as super sampling as it's taking a 4k signal and shrinking it to 1440p.
Rift apart has some sense controls, each gun has it's own trigger pull and much more inbedded. The blaster will shoot 1 shot at half pull vs 3 on full pull. It's weirdly mind boggling. This console is awesome with lots of potential!
Totally agree with this review, Sony really dropped the ball with backwards compatibility. They absolutely could have implemented it if they wanted to.

I’m not a huge gamer by any means, but that damn controller blew my mind! I’m happy I got the PS5 and I’ve never been more excited to jump into more games just to experience a controller. It’s weird because you’d think the selling point is how great the system is (and it totally is) and what games are available, and I’m sure the Xbox series X is awesome in its own way, but this next generation controller makes for a complete new gaming experience in my opinion. Happy gaming everyone (regardless of what system your preference is)

Take it apart, clean it, replace the thermal paste on the processer(original thermal paste Sony used SUCKS) and make sure the thermal pads on all other components are making good contact. Mine was 10000% quieter and the console ran smoother with online games. (Admin boot the console and rebuild database to help speed up general load times for most games) It can be intimidating if you haven't done electronic or computer work before, but follow a breakdown video and keep track of/sort screws as you take it apart. IT IS WORTH IT. Takes about an hour depending on how dirty your console is.
I have to say - I have seen nothing to date that made me think "OK that's it, I'm buying a ps5." Not the graphics, not the games, not the controller - it reminds me of the new "amazing" iPhone that now has four extra cameras and rounded edges. I don't see much difference vs the Ps4 to justify the expenditure to be honest. Plenty of juice left in the ps4, definitely waiting a while until the 2nd or 3rd ps5 iteration, a greater variety of games, and a lower price are available.
I’m gonna wait until Austin uploads a tutorial on how to install a ssd for storage. Playstations isn’t gonna let their new games be able to be saved on a external hard drive. And with only 600+ gb available in the end ain’t gonna cut it.
It's not the Sony "won't let" you install PS5 games on an external drive, it's that an external drive can't utilize the custom architecture and I/O of the console that native PS5 games require

I’m not a huge gamer by any means, but that damn controller blew my mind! I’m happy I got the PS5 and I’ve never been more excited to jump into more games just to experience a controller.
It’s weird because you’d think the selling point is how great the system is (and it totally is) and what games are available, and I’m sure the Xbox series X is awesome in its own way, but this next generation controller makes for a complete new gaming experience in my opinion. Happy gaming everyone (regardless of what system your preference is)

@@elitesooraj it does on cod cold war the haptic feedback actually causes the triggers to kick back like if you shoot a shotgun it springs back like a kick back, or if you shoot a small its shaking the trigger like crazy its awesome

Its because of dust in your ps4. I cleaned mine a couple of months ago and its way more quiet
Take it apart, clean it, replace the thermal paste on the processer(original thermal paste Sony used SUCKS) and make sure the thermal pads on all other components are making good contact. Mine was 10000% quieter and the console ran smoother with online games. (Admin boot the console and rebuild database to help speed up general load times for most games)
It can be intimidating if you haven't done electronic or computer work before, but follow a breakdown video and keep track of/sort screws as you take it apart. IT IS WORTH IT. Takes about an hour depending on how dirty your console is.
I have to say - I have seen nothing to date that made me think "OK that's it, I'm buying a ps5." Not the graphics, not the games, not the controller - it reminds me of the new "amazing" iPhone that now has four extra cameras and rounded edges. I don't see much difference vs the Ps4 to justify the expenditure to be honest. Plenty of juice left in the ps4, definitely waiting a while until the 2nd or 3rd ps5 iteration, a greater variety of games, and a lower price are available.

I’m gonna wait until Austin uploads a tutorial on how to install a ssd for storage. Playstations isn’t gonna let their new games be able to be saved on a external hard drive. And with only 600+ gb available in the end ain’t gonna cut it.
It's not the Sony "won't let" you install PS5 games on an external drive, it's that an external drive can't utilize the custom architecture and I/O of the console that native PS5 games require

@Mickey D not every game will be 8k but it will eventually be there will definitely be a better ps5 version like the ps4 but yes people are slowly transitioning to 4k TV's
Luckily I got a 4K TV last week
Mine is not even close to 4k I can go to my phone camera and see colors go across my screen. ( It is flat screen at least)
