They are not supported yet (need future update), and they need PCIe 4.0 drives, which only a few drives on the market are anyway...
Linus already proven there isn't a perceivable difference between SATA, PCIe and PCIe 4.0 drives anyway... Not cheap out buying a super budget drive for OC is more important...)

To be real - Wouldnt be under the hood not plastic parts that much and more visibility for the real hardware, it would probably even look better without the white plastic elements.

It's ashame people think they'll save money on the digital version. When in reality disc games will be cheaper and on sale quicker than the PS Store will have a meaningful discount on the game. Yeah that digital version you bought just ended up costing the same as the disc version in games you've bought at a higher price.
Just a thought but maybe it feels more weighted because it has all of its charging components in it?
Typically any controller will feel more weighted when it has a rechargeable pack inside of it instead of just batteries.

Phillips screw can die so fast if you are using a small screwdriver than the screw itself. it just eats the metal away. I dont know why torx are not standart for base mounts on every new thing now

Linus, since the PS2, sony has let you always use non-proprietary storage, I think you're able to use USB Sticks as PS2 Memory Cards, if I'm not mistaken. And the PS3 and PS4 and HDD Bays for 2.5inch Laptop drives.

Thing is, they were already doing that with the PS3 and PS4 where the 2.5 inch drive was easily accessible and replaceable with a larger drive. Not the same as the PS5 but pretty close to it.

Yes, technically both the general vibration feedback in the controller and the resistive triggers are haptic - 'haptic' is a term that covers any kind of touch-based feedback. But calling them 'haptic' and 'resistive' respectively makes it clearer what each thing does.
honestly, I've been appreciating the general movement from Philips to torx. Stripping is so much less common.

There's also the fact that were plenty of outlets and influencers that feature heavily in the console space that got a PS5 early for impressions and reviews. Given the amount of early access and high-end tech he gets his hands on via his company, no one is feeling sorry for him for having to buy a PS5 with his own money.

That's not too bad, most third world countries have salaries of just a quarter (if that) of developed countries, which means in most european countries you'd need to work just a month to get a new console while still satisfying your basic needs, meanwhile, in a developing country you'd need over 4 months of work to achieve the same thing.

sony literally made a video showing you exactly how to take apart the ps5, linus still spends what i assume is at least half an hour bungling his way through it
its a slot screw because if you dont have "tools" you could use a butter knife, coin, key... ect. its also a lot less likely to strip.
I think the difference between resistive triggers and haptic feedback is that haptic feedback just uses a rumble function very precisely to create the illusion of some kind of resistance or texture to the input, while resistive actually uses motors to put pressure on the trigger against your input.
