What pretreat do you like? I'm just getting started as a hobby (friends, family members & my church). Picked up a used extractor and scrubber and use pre treat, pre scrub & clear water extract. There are so many pretreat brands and what seems like a lot of hype. From your experience, what are one or two good inexpensive general purpose pretreats that are easy to find and work well for general cleaning ? I don't want to have a bunch of different specialty items. I'm using the last bit of Flex Citrusolv that came with the extractor. What should I buy next?
I like Vacaway Encapacide. You can go with a lot of other choices but Vacaway has a sample pack you can try a few different options. Hot Knife, Encapacide, are two popular ones. Prespray, scrub, extract, dry passes...
I have a bissell big green to clean my home carpet. After my research, it seems a good heated extractor with out brushes (use of a wand) is the way to go, using the process you have shown. What is a good heated extractor I could buy new today, that would be equivalent to your machine?
Can you list the parts needed to replicate the sprayer head properly please? I'm 68 and I go up on the roof twice a year to clean it and the hand pump up sprayer is getting to be too much for me. Even climbing the ladder is getting difficult lol. This looks like I could spray the cleaning solution like I am no longer living in the 70's and dance while I do it too ha ha lol.
Worx sprayer (ebay) and a set of pressure washer tips, although the adjustable tip that comes with it has different settings that would work. I also bought a short lance, but you might want the long one that it comes with.
@@agrota21 Thank you Allen :) I didn't think of all you just wrote so THANKS, I was more centered on how you got that tip onto it, do they just fit directly? I see the ones on Ebay, thank you, I was confused on how to plug in that white tip :)
That day it was just water. All the chemicals are in the prespray, because I generally scrub it in with the Oreck and then do a clear water rinse with the extractor. That leaves carpet softer. I've done it both ways though, over the years.
Do you have a Mac computer or Windows? If you have a Mac you need or can get a program called Final Cut Pro, it's $200. I can help you with that. If you are Windows I can't help as the program you need is a program I don't know how to run :) I'm 68, so I know hat your doing lol. Thumbs up 👍👍👍 Just an FYI, the newest Mac stuff is cheaper than the old ones. The Mac Mini is like $600 and you need a monitor. It is an essential tool in your video creation workflow.
I like how the dogs are relaxing and watching you're clean the carpet, lol....

Do you put chemicals in the machine or just water?

What kind of sprayer are you using?
Worx
Might need a better Prespray if you use that much
❤

ammonia have a potent smell what did you put so it wont smell foul?
It's lemon ammonia, so it's not terrible, plus it gets rinsed out.
Maybe contemplate getting yourself a solo battery sprayer ....
