Can you only make profits by selling to poor systems? I tried selling from wealthy to other wealthy systems yesterday but I made no profit and lost ~200k units. Is it because I sold at a station terminal?
Always sell to NPCs so you don’t crash the market, if you sell at a terminal it will take a day or so for the price to works it’s way back up. You want to buy and sell in rich economies for best results and make sure you are trying to sell the goods in the correct economy type.
I have warped to several wealthy and high supply science economies with 60-76% buying, and all my advanced materials keep showing -20 to -60% demand in the sell window. What is going on?
When you sell, sell to the NPC's rather than the terminals otherwise you will drop the price and it will take a while to go back up. Can also be the case if someone else has been there recently and done the same. You can avoid the second way by turning off multiplayer.
I did this just by going to a bunch of systems started at 35 mil but sold one set of items in a wealthy system and boom 200mil less then an hour
Yeah it's definitely a game that doesn't make you grind for materials, leaves more time for building and exploring
