Once you automate all the crafting and farming, you wont have too. But keep in mind you get attacked every now and then, so build some defences and you'll be fine.
You'll hate palworld then, I'm afraid. It is extremely focused on build/craft survival. I was hoping for a party of 4 or 5 pals to be active at once, essentially allowing you to charge around the map with a small Pal army lol That, and evolutions. However, the creature capture, taming, breeding etc. is actually way more fleshed out in ARK. And there's a mod that adds actual Pokemon. So if you want Pokemon with guns, maybe look into that instead?
I’m just here to agree with you lol. Not tell you to move on like some other people here. Not everyone likes to spend 8 billion hour crafting. Just like in Pokémon. I could care less about catching every single mon. But I do however, love power leveling my party to just wreck everything in my way. Guess I’ll just be “moving on” with you.
My problem with this game is how it technically promotes animal cruelty through production. Although YES you can just get your pals to work every once in a while, the game actively slows you down to a crawl unless you turn the pal management machine to brutal or cruel settings. Thus working your pals until their stressed, depressed, hurt, or pretty much down right dead. I would say having them help you garden is fine but when youve got 45 pals trapped in a room and all their existence is just manufacturing assault rifles that kinda goes a little overboard. So while the concept seems okay I do not promote this game for anyone under the age of 16

You can put them to work in your bases if they have the skills, you can sell them for a considerable profit to the Black Market Merchant, or...if you really want to, can butcher them like you would other Pals for resources. You can do this with ANY NPC including the merchants. Just note that capturing random civilians in a settlement will net you a bounty and the Black Market Merchant is extremely powerful. You can try to catch him but you are going to be in for a very tough fight if you try. Another detail to note is all your storages at your bases are linked. Put some storage crates around your base, store your materials and then you are set to start crafting. You don't need to have the materials in your inventory to make any crafting recipe (be it weapons, armor, food, etc). Yes, typically when you buy an early access game on Steam, you will have it forever. This means you get any update after buying the game, including full release and onwards. A good example of this is those who bought Baldur's Gate 3 when it first released as early access a few years ago got to keep the game all the way to current day and received all updates.
For most games that *aren't* pulling some shady DLC-based stuff (for example Ark: Survival Evolved, which released its story over time as add-on map dlc not included with the base game), if you buy them in early access that's it. You get the full game and don't have to buy what you already paid for when it releases.
No, you shouldn't have to buy it again. Not unless the devs pull some shady crap. Usually, if you buy a game in early access, when it gets released fully, the early access version people bought should get updated to the full version for free.

You don't have to... your pals can battle them to weaken them.
@@winnkoehler7152 that's good
@@Jcreber it would be more humane if you didn't have to
Is it offline playable? I have seen both sides of being able to play without internet and others saying that you need internet for it.
Game makers could make so much more money just by adding "Playable Offline" in games description, when it applies. It's literally the FIRST thing I wanna know when watching game reviews, not happening yet.
On Xbox you need internet connection people on PC said it's playable offline.
Pokémon but with guns, sign me up. I hope there's gang wars too while were at it
Pokemon: Nooo! You can't just catch the human with stupid pal ball and kill the monsters with guns!
Palworld: haha, catch and kill a
them all go brrr...
Very excited for this
Raising the bar for pokemon games!!!
This is what the open world Pokémon should have been like
my question is how has palworld not been sued by pokemon......
Because the developers of Palworld know how to navigate the legalities so that technically, Nintendo cannot sue them.
@@bloodwolfgaming9269 oh nintendo can and will eventually sue them... if you think direct stealing of other games wont get you in trouble you are dumber than the idiots who made this dog shit game
Can U play offline?
So this is not a mmo with a world with many players? just servers with 10-20 people?
It does sound like Ark, this game, I just wonder if the game mechanics are as overwhelming as Ark's, to me at least there's a bit too much going on in Ark so I hope Palworld is a bit more tame.
im thinking about getting the game but my question is: We have coop up to 4 players so can i only invite my friend to play with and my second question is: is it like satisfactory where we still can play the world even if the host is like offline and my friend could play in the meantime
To my knowledge you can only play with the host, and each world has an invite code you have to send or read off to whoever you want to join your world
It feels like if fortnite and temtem had a baby and it grow up to be raised by genshin impact.
What exactly is the mind control meds do in palworld
16th thing you need to know; It's also on xbox.
Xbox tax in full effect
So, if im really into Ark Survival Evolved, is this a good game for me? Im really interested in getting it, however, i dont wanna get something if i wont enjoy it. It doesnt look the best imo, but it looks like its right up my alley.
you must have not been around for arks initial days.
@@brianraub3587 ur right it was too expensive and I was younger with no money
It's more or less ARK with Pokemon-like creatures instead of dinosaurs.
So theres little to no story all u do is build n farm stuff?
This seems more Digimon than Pokemon
Game is also free on Xbox Game Pass on Series X and Xbox One.
incredibly fun but this game has terrifyingly low frame rate 😭
I’m wouldn’t be surprised if some kind of lawsuit came of this. A lot of the “pals” look extremely similar to existing pokemon. No idea about anything related to the developer but when I saw this I thought it was some weird Chinese knockoff of pokemon lol
Nintendo can't sue just because some of the Pals "look similar" to Pokemon in design. As long as they aren't identical or called the same thing as Pokemon, Nintendo doesn't really have much ground to stand on.
Everything about the multiplayer system so far is very dissapointing.. but besides that it's a fun co-op experience, really hard to tell future potential.
so it does not have online world like an mmorpg? its a solo game? ew
@@3rdEyeAi. I think everyone is playing coop servers up to 4.. later they'll fix and open servers with 34 slots but I don't know how that will work. But it's never going to be anything like an mmo. I'd say it will become a coop meme game and will be forgotten in a couple weeks.
This game has potential but its very rough at the moment
I want Monster Hunter to do something like this so bad.
Blastorstie had a gun?
I was going to buy the game, what a fool I was. Thanks dude
Why would you not include xbox when it’s day 1 xbox gamepass?
I bought it i played it let me tell u as a fps player eft etc i was skeptical wasnt big into ark etc but this game is just hilarious at times etc but its fun i tabed out forgot what time it was next i knew been playing for 16 hrs and dont even feel like im close to done
What is the soundtracksname if 3:07?
I love pals
For 30 dollars it offers so damn much and is polished as any early access titles are on release. Definitely worth it and I could see the price increase much like Ark and other successful EA games.
If you buy the preview do you get the game when it comes out or do you have to buy that to
@themilitaryboys6557 you buy the full game not the preview. The preview is only on gamepass
If pokemon actually had accessibility options
No PvP I'm sold.
looks like a mix of zelda and pokemon
Ark and Pokémon have a baby, and gave it a rocket launcher
Is this always online multiplayer?
Pokemon married with Ark and you get Palworld
What system is it on
Was expecting more from this that just an Ark clone with Pokemon and guns...
Its PokeARK
This sounds like it would be great but seeing it and actually playing it to find out are two different things so iam not going to make any assumptions till I play it
Game looks awesome. But ill wait for more updates. Dosnr look like theres enough in it
