I think how one shuffles determines what type of card stock is best. Riffle shuffling goes better with a thinner, more flexible stock, while hand over hand shuffling can stand a stiffer, thicker card. It also makes a difference whether one has young, flexible joints or older, arthritic joints. I have found that decks that are too slippery at first tend to lose that "too slippery" feel after using them for awhile. 😂 ✌️❤️🃏
That is a very good point….i will try to use one of my very slippery decks for a while and then see if the cards are not so slippery after a while.

Thick card stock is difficult for some smaller hands. Shuffling a too thick deck, is problematic for my clients. Love the videos

The radiant wise tarot card stock is lovely actually..I really like mpc and lewellyn card stock as its thinner and the cards smaller..

I have Radiant Wise Tarot - Universal Tarot, professional Edition and Lucid Dreams - I love them. My favorite is Radiant Wise because I have amazing readings with the intuition flowing very easily with it.

The card stock for the original first edition of the Sakki-Sakki Tarot has to be one of the best over-hand shuffling stocks ever. The black core stock along with the smaller, elongated size and vivid color printing is something else.

Thanks for this. I am concerned about not using plastic. Can you give some advice on tarot cards and plastic? How to tell if the cards are made of plastic. Thanks so much. (I am new to tarot.)
Hey there…. Plastic is usually a thicker material and on the package or description it should say that the cards are made out of plastic. There is not a lot of decks out there made out of plastic. I personally do not like plastic cards but many people do. Thank you for watching and sharing.

Which deck is the one you used for the picture for the thumbnail pic please? I must have it lol. The old feeling ones that are handmade are my absolute favorite and would love to have them. But they're more pricey and I can't unfortunately. One day I'll get one of those decks.

The Radiant Wise Spirit card stock is ATROCIOUS. It feels like actual cardboard and not paper. It hurt my hands to shuffle. But that is because I riffle shuffle. I am going to assume your favorite decks are even worse.
