Hey Rob! I'm curious to know where you got that Terra Volatile is an AI deck? I've had this deck for some time, and never heard that; I can't find anything about it, either. From my understanding, it is a digital collage with handdrawn elements. Please let me know! 21:53
I find it hard to believe this is an AI deck, if I am not mistaken the first printing of this deck was release early 2021, with the deck being created during the pandemic. DALL-E, one of the most popular text to image models was release in January 2021 so the timeline would not add up. It can be hard these days to discern AI generated images from authentic art, as someone that does not want to support AI-generated art I understand this is important. As AI has made image creation and composition easier we are being flooded by decks from creators and publishers that do not care about tarot or art, Terra Volatile is not one of them.
Hey there! Perhaps my age is catching up! Since it is not hand painted but rather computer generated I immediately thought that it was AI 🤖. Now that you mention it I will try to dig out more information and I will write to the creators as I am in direct touch with them to get a straight answer and clear this up. Thank you for bringing this up. Honestly I don’t know why people have such a huge issue with with AI? It is what it is and we can’t stop it. I think at the end of the day we are all free to either buy an AI deck or choose not to buy a deck because it is AI, but to impose one’s views on some one else is something I will never agree with it. I respect ✊🏻 people’s opinions, I might sometimes not agree with them but I certainly will respect them….. peace ✌🏻 and Love!
