Tom Petty, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Roger McGuinn, , who else? Man what a concert to witness. Wish I could be there. This is such a great song. 'I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now". Great lyrics.
G E Smith, Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn.
Yes! It's brillant poetry:
"I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now."
The sentence is ingenious and exactly right.
Still can’t figure how GE Smith sneaked onstage
@@robertpaul5065he was the show's musical director
Fearing not that I became my enemy in the moment that I speak, BD A Golden rule for all of us
Harrison is a saint
I can't believe the stage didn't collapse with all those giants on it. So glad I was able to see them in the early days in my youth. Even now they take me back as I sit here an old man once again to relive my memories.
So Agreed my friend!🎶🎵🎶...
I still get out the guitar at age 66....
@@stephenhenion8304 I'm 69 and stuff likes this inspire me to my core!
Я, к сожалению, жил в молодости в СССР. Коммунисты этих исполнителей ТАМ никогда не показывали...

The guys who wrote "my lifes soundtrack"...all together ..As the song says....i was so much younger THEN LOL
I watch this and cry, seeing George Harrison sing and play his heart out.
Me too Diane,Goosebumps and tears! We miss George and John!
I'd give anything to have the privilege of seeing George Harrison play. He was the only Beatle - and this is a Beatlemaniac speaking - who could make me cry all the way through the show.
Igual yo
P I liked it so much I bought the DVD release
I liked it so much about the DVD
Neil’s smile near the end tells you all you need to know about this.
I miss you very very much. George Harrison you'll will always be my number one beatle. R.i.p. my dear friend I will always keep your memories in my heart. Your fan and friend t.k.f.
😢 Love George so so much too! ❤ He is Unforgettable ❤️
A miracle of a man. I love him too. ❤
From another Pisces born in time to listen to “ Meet the Beatles “ as a teenager, George told us
all what we came here for..” this is LOVE”.
Mine too. I have always referred to him as "the gentle Beatle".❤
Yes.....George is a truly great man.....I love him too......
Neil Youngs Solo at the end is just stunning...
I love his grin after he finished. What a good time.
I liked Clapton's better it just flowed nice to me... But only a spare few can challenge mastery of the guitar that Clapton has anyways. Young's was still good though!
Amazing how Young can play a guitar and have a seizure at the same time. :)
Neil Young just crapped on that song. He is such an idiot.
@@greg6904Clapton's playing always seems reserved. Young on the other hand imbues his playing with the twisted emotional energy of Dr Jekyll
give it up for G E Smith for managing this so smoothly
And the sound board operator.
Eric Clapton solo...that's incredible! Neil Young solo....sensational! This is pure art!
I don't think that music gets any better than this....They are having such a good time... It's just so fantastic.. I miss the ones that are no longer with us... but I bet that the Cosmos is Rocking!!❤❤❤❤❤
Some are dead, and some are living, in my life, I love them all
Now THA'TS what I call Music!....actual live performances....no AutoTune etc....no Gimmicks....and pure Talent....todays youngsters are missing out on so much!!
No dancers in their underwear.
Freeze this moment for all time so the younger generation will know what musical talent really is...
So many greats on stage together. My hero's are aging and slowly disappearing. They will live here and in my heart forever.
Music in our heart n souls forever bro
I'm always conscious that these heroes are only on loan to us and we may not have them for very much longer. Thank God for audio and video. And God bless them all. ❤
Heaven sure hosts the best concert seats.. all the best are jammn there..cant wait till I get my golden ticket "ADMIT ONE"
They were so humble and kind 😍
Tom looks so young here compared to the others. Like George he’s already gone on to Rock and Roll paradise.
Eric's solo is like liquid gold
Like silk through your fingers!
Neil Young just crapped on that song.
@@MarkDiSciulloI don't understand.
What’s even more impressive is that he looked uncertain about whether Bob was going to sing the next stanza then he steps up seamlessly and starts singing. That was simply amazing and so professionally executed.
I've made a cover for that amazing Clapton's melody... hope you all enjoy here th-cam.com/users/shortsIYbRoK8YN-I?si=jGg0EeoHP5xYyOGV
Rip George and Tom🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hello Susan, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
When Clapton bends a note, it feels like jumping upwards on a trampoline.
One of the most amazing collections of talent ever on one stage. And McGuinn more than holds his own with all the bigger names.
Wow just fantastic All of these great men all together brilliant doesn't get much better than that thanks to them all
"in a soldiers stance I aimed my hand at the mongrel dogs who teach "
sublime lyrics:
I wonder how many of todays so called stars will be able to entertain us with a show of this quality in 30 years time
My Goodness.., George Harrison was a Gorgeous Man.
How wonderful it must have been for all these legends to share the same stage with the man who made this song what it is… Roger McGuinn.
Great comments indeed
Very cool, Brits, Yanks, and one friggin happy Canuck!
Music is universal
Un comentario fuera de lugar.
I never get tired of watching this. It's brilliant talent every time I watch it.
Me too!!!
THIS IS SO GOOD IT LITERALLY GIVES ME THE CHILLS AND BRINGS TEARS OF JOY TO MY EYES. I MEAN IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS...
God bless 🙏 you Lawrence 🙏
I quite agreed
Wouldn't have been the Beatles without ANY of them . George brought a sweet godliness to the group and then again with the Willburys.
Hello Andy, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
Great to see so many iconic music makers on one stage...working together...a beautiful thing!

One of Dylan's best songs and performed terrifically by very talented admirers.
The Greats of the 60’s-70’s sing the anthem of Boomer generation. It literally doesn’t get any better.😊

What a great song, Neil young's performance IS the best!
WOW! I mean WOW! How powerful is this? All the greats assembled. What a performance of an Iconic Dylan song. I am blown away.
A wonderful and moving video. I love how Eric Clapton and Neil Young's solos are unique expressions of Dylan's music and their own style.
Agree, love Claptons solo
Wonderful and fantastic music.
Oh yeah!!!
Neil, playing with his entire body, captures the whole essence of the song.
@@k2k273I agree. Clapton's solo is beautiful and virtuosic, while Young's is raw and tortured. I prefer Young's interpretation.
I have played guitar since I was 13, piano for 4 years before that. My Musical Heroes surpassed excellence on this song. I am humbled at this PERFORMANCE !!!
Oh George! My heart is yours forever❤❤❤
Hello Joelinda, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
incredible lineup that includes 4 of The Traveling Wilburys; George, Tom, Bob, & drummer Jim Keltner
I always wondered why Jeff Lynne wasn't there.
Don't forget Steve Cropper on guitar. When Steve cropper is the second or third guitar man you know there is a lot of greats on stage.
I was at this concert, sat behind Carly Simon, stepped on Ed Begley's foot. Amazing show, and I have seen a lot of rock and roll. I feel fortunate I was able to go.
The smile on G.E.s Face when George is singing... Priceless
He was directing the band too. He’s a real pro.
Excellent performance by everyone including Jim Keltner on drums.
Bob Dylan is the greatest musician of ore era
Great writer, so-so musician, lousy singer. Nonetheless worthy of the tribute.
This song is so true, we knew it all in our teens. But now we know better.
Ever since Tom Petty died, I have grown more and more a fan of his. I guess I didn't know what we had till he was gone, to borrow Joni's line.
G.E. Smith calling the directions on stage. Steve Cropper on guitar, Duck Dunn on bass and Al Kooper on organ.
The royalty of rock !!
Bob seems stunned by the love. Very moving how he seems to mean something to them all.

Nope. Parasite. Not a fan.
Eric Clapton's tone is to die for!
may god bless Neil young, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Paul mcCartney a long life.
Paul is not in the band but George.

There isn 't anyone thst good this song better then these guys. They leave those of us from their generation behind far to soon.
3:49 G.E Smith . . . the only man on the planet to ever tell Neil Young to "Play NOW!"

Amazing how one song writer who can't sing brings a group of talent rallying behind him. Dylan shaped the 60s.
ahhh, he may have had a small part, but the 60's, indeed music and the world were shaped by 4 young men, one of them on the stage. The Brits definitely ruled the 60's and 70's, and to a degree the 80's. Dylan was influential for sure, but to say he shaped the 60's, nope that was undeniably the Beatles
@@markhill9275Both did, imo. But The Beatles will always rule, no doubt!! Forever..

❤We should have a Bob Dylan day. We all talk like Bob and quote some of his lyrics. It would make us all wiser. ❤❤❤❤
Fuck yeah lot of social reverence today even, many older songs have that, now you have to worry about grabbing the largest market share. But hell I heard Kid Rock say country stars can’t be openly racist, and all good ol’ boys club to or needlessly offensive to some the already shit on LGBT community.
Neil's guitar is badass !!!! Very cool!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎼🎼🎼🎤🎤🎤🍺🍺🍺
Steve cropper plays great man he is so underated he should be like clapton
