i'm Sarawakian. but I LOVE SOOOOOOOOO MUCH Nasi Kerabu. This authentic Nasi Kerabu from Kelantan is a must EAT dish when i visit there~🤤🤤🤤

As for the daging bakar and lemak bakar..you need to cut into slices..then dip into the chilli..eat without cutting into slices, makes it hard..😁😁.. If you cut properly, tht beef and lemak can be enjoyed with nasi kerabu too..thts heaven..
Different states have their own specialty food being sold in Bazar Ramadhan. Most people only do coverage on KL/Selangor bazaar when there are other states with their own nice foods as well..thank u ichang for this eye-opening culture

Welcome to Kelantan..... you can taste variaties of foods. The coconut juice (Air Tuak or Nira Kelapa) you have to finished it, if you keep for 2 or 3 days it will become SAKE... 🤣🤣

Come to the longest bazaar Ramadhan in Sungai Petani. Then try to find at the very end a stall that sells NASI ULAM KEDAH. Eat it with the SAYUR KELADI dish. This is a very traditional Kedah rice dish that you can only find during Ramadhan.

Dont know you are at Kelantan... Its a heavenly great when going iftar at bazar ramadhan stadium over there... Dont forget to find stall Yati Ayam Percik at there or might go to their restaurant... Their percik was the best, also kerabu perut too.... Should find and take a look of others variety they might sale
These Malay foods look so good! I regret not trying them enough before I move overseas. It is so hard to get decent Malay food here in Sydney!

@@ichangrm Some vendors are dishonest, they don't sell pure air nira (tuak), they already mixed with sugar water and sometime add coloring. They want to get higher yield and profits. The mixed one is not as tasty as pure one and usually don't have sparkling taste.

1) Kueh cara belauk. Many sellers used spicy beef kerutuk filling.
2) Those aren't satay those are Daging bakar & lemak(fat) bakar . Please Slice thinly before you eat. The fat is good when it was hot or warm. Goes well with Nasi Kerabu. Yummy 😋🤤
I never drink tuak. It probably underwent fermentation 😊 due to hot weather & not fresh. People said it has "Bubble tastes."

Traditionally grilled beef & fat coated with salted tumeric. We eat with chili sauce (traditionally red 🌶️ sauce not green coriander chili sauce could be "Thai Influence or seller preference".) Currently, BBQ beef & chicken are famously eaten with Nasi Kerabu.
i had not been to stadium bazaar for more than 20 years! last time was in 1999 😂

Air tuak ada 2 jenis. Dalam video air tuak kelapa (dalam videk kelapa pandan) with is recommended. Air tuak nipah sedap but tak semua orang boleh terima rasa dia strong sikit.

Experience bazaar Ramadhan at pasar Cabang Tiga or Pasar Payang or Gerai Gong Kapas .. they operate start from 3pm..
Taste and enjoy kuih-muih Terengganu
People there are so friendly and so lively.... food is delicious also😋

Got 2 types of kuih cara. The one that u purchased is a savory one (the filings normal minced beef/chicken, a bit of chilli n caramelised onion). Normally yellow in color. The sweet one green color (pandan + caramelised sugar).
U shld try the colek. The snacks after night pray....dang good👍👍

Jimmy, please be informed that there are 2 types of air nira/air tuak. 1 type is from nira kelapa, which u described earlier. Another one is extracted from nipah instead of kelapa... this one has a very unique taste. U should try them
Actually air tuak there are 3rd types from fermented rice.

Daging bakar ( big sate 😅) you need to slice first before eat. Very tasty to eat with nasi kerabu. Nasi kerabu, daging bakar, kambing bakar, air tuak.. so good combination 🤤
FYI, you also can try eat 'colek' at night, only in kelantan. So many colek on ramadhan and you can't find it after ramadhan.
Ichang should have nasi kerabu with etok!

iChang, that delicious drink you're enjoying is nira, a lighter version of palm toddy, which is the sap from the palm flower that has been bound to prevent it from blooming and then tapped daily for the sap... the fermentation of the liquid produces that beautiful taste which is mildly alcoholic. So you are correct to say it tastes like Moscato...
For daging/lemak bakar, you need to cut slice into small pieces for easier to eat. Not eat like normal satay hehe

If you both have chance to come to Kedah, you can go to Bazaar Ramadhan Taman Ria Sungai Petani which is the longest bazaar Ramadhan in Malaysia!
Please look for nasi daging, nasi ulam and bihun sup utara; the Kedah's signature dish 😋

Once I drink 3 of that bottle after Raya, during breaking fast for Puasa 6 (Six day optional fasting in the month of Syawal) and I got stomach ache straight away 🤗 due to much acids in stomach. Need to go to clinic to have some check up 😎
