Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed how the music in the video changed. It seems like your son had a hand in picking it out! :)

Actually Julia does most all of the editing and music. Erik and Michael chime in when asked . But julia takes your comment as a huge compliment. Choosing the right music can sometimes take as long as the edits!!

It "used to be", back in the late 80's to late 90's, that the preferred anchorage at Allen's was the lagoon one motored into from the anchorage on lee side of the island (where all those sailboats were). The lagoon was next to the Cut that led out into the Sound, it held maybe 4 boats and was as still as bath water. The Cut offered an abundance of sea life one seeks if fresh sea food is sought. The benefits of a full but not deep sailboat keel.

Great tips . We obviously were anchored in the wrong spot.
We did cruise around but didn’t see a cut a smooth as bath water . Maybe next time!

Have not been online for a while so have missed a couple of your videos. So nice to see you again and providing your dose of nautical action. It looks wonderful, and would be a bucket list location for those of us so far away. Thanks to you for the insight.

Glad to have you back Stephen. Hope all is well with you. We actually had a ridiculously rolly night at this location and barely slept a wink… but it was a beautiful island ! It is very hard to show the waves and motion on camera. We need to get some tips from the pros!

That cruise to Allen Cay wasn't too bad....just seemed a bit choppy. The drone work was really good. Pretty neat to see all the boats anchored and see the islands from the air. Too bad he didn't catch any fish.

It was quite choppy and as you can see from Erik’s drone video the anchorage was rolly too. We barely slept all night. But that’s how it goes . Part of living onboard that takes some getting used to!

Super cool lifestyle. Diffidently a dream of mine. What is the reason you choose the Ranger tug 25 over the 23.Just curious. Thanks
