    We love Staniel Cay, too. A small money saving hint: The public dump (located just north of the airport runway) is free to dump your garbage there, and not a bad walk if you have a cart. I think almost every time I took a load, I either hitch hiked a ride there or back on a golf cart. Walk like you are heading to the old Club Thunderball, it's a little bit past it on the right. Enjoyed your video!

      Good tip , thanks
      Ralph. Julia actually was walking to the dump but had someone offer to take the trash for free- such friendly people those Bahamians!

    Much prefer these saltwater pigs to their mainland mudbound cousins. 😅 Living vicariously though your wonderful videos, thanks! 🖖

      It looked like a calm spot to anchor and explore with pigs and all 👍

    Wow, Julia, this was a very enjoyable video to watch! You had a little bit of everything in the video....boat riding in your 25-foot Ranger Tug passing by those superyachts way closer to shore, petting the nurse shark, action with the pigs, and taking us to shore to see the laid-back town. But...but....but what stole the show were the pigs of Pig Island! It was neat to see how the pigs live on the island. Always looking for someone to give them a snack. Loved how Michael got into the water to provide a snack and swim with the pigs! Awesome! The underwater camera work was pretty neat to see how the pigs swam alongside Michael. Was interesting to see where the pigs ate and get their water. I really, really enjoyed this video!

    Another great video, thanks. It’s all a matter of perception, as those Super Yachts are to Sea Nest and so a Ranger Tug is to my ‘water moped’ as I call it. It looks perfect.

    I (Ally) was just at Staniel Cay last August for an 8 day island hoppin trip for work. Loved it! We're headed to the Exumas in 3 weeks

    What I liked is while the superyachts were anchored a bit far out, you guys were right on the beach. Nice.

      Yes, we agree ! It’s so nice to have the option to be able to get in close for additional wind protection.

      Michael, We are fine just on the water and needed a break from editing. It is ridiculously time consuming. Julia needed a little break. Thank you much l for your concern. That is very touching. There will be another episode the first Friday in August.

    Great video. I've been looking at the R27, but now I'm interested in the 25. How easy is it to trailer and will marinas let you leave your trailer when you go on a cruise?

    • @expeditionseanest
      @expeditionseanest  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We only have experience towing the R25 . It tows better than our travel trailer and 5th wheel. It mostly has to do with the aerodynamic shape of the boat hull. The ranger are 25 weighs much more than our fifth wheel and travel trailer, but it feels more stable on the road and safer to pull. Most of the marinas I think would be able to store your truck and trailer. We stored our trailer at a friends place but I know that marinas usually have space for this. But best to call ahead and check

    How do you like the ranger 25? What’s your thoughts on the 27 or 31. I want to do a variety of trips like you guys and maybe even the great loop. I’ve been looking at the 31 with having the redundancy of 2 outboards in mind.

      Love the R25. Great for trailering . The 2 outboards are a must for any type of ocean crossing like the Gulf Stream as we do . The 27 and 31 would be a fine choice for the Great Loop , as there is no trailering involved. Are there just 2 passengers on board?

    love the boat, what do you use to trailer the boat? i have a 6.2 GMC

      We use tandom axle trailer with electric/ hydraulic brakes. We have a Chevy van with a Quigley 4 wheel drive components. Pulls very well.
