Pav Bhaji Fondue 🌟 | Classic Favorite with a Unique Twist

  • Welcome, everyone! 🎉 Today, I’m taking you on a culinary adventure with my Pav Bhaji Fondue recipe! 🍲🧀 This fusion dish combines the beloved flavors of pav bhaji with the fun twist of a cheesy fondue.     INGREDIENTS FOR THE FONDUE:
    Garlic 5-6 cloves
    Grated ginger 2 tsp
    Chopped coriander stalks 1 tbsp
    Onion 1 (cut into medium size pieces)
    Potato 1 big-sized (peeled and chopped)
    Chopped carrot ¼ cup
    Chopped cauliflower or cabbage ¼ cup (optional)
    Green peas (fresh or frozen) ¼ cup
    Tomatoes 2 medium-sized (chopped)
    Dry red chillies 3 (deseeded)
    Grated beetroot 1 tbsp
    Oil 4 tsp
    Butter 1 tbsp
    Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
    Pav Bhaji masala 1 tbsp
    Finely chopped capsicum or bell pepper 2 tbsp
    Salt to taste
    Grated cheese (processed and mozzarella) ½ cup
    INGREDIENTS FOR GARLIC BREAD CUBES:
    Pav bhaji bread 6
    Butter 2 tbsp
    Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
    Mixed herbs ½ tsp
    Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
    Red chilli powder ½ tsp
    METHOD:
    1) To Prepare the Vegetable Puree, heat 2 tsp oil in a pressure cooker pan, add garlic cloves, ginger, coriander stalks and onion pieces. Sauté until slightly soft. Add the chopped potato, carrot, cauliflower or cabbage and green peas. Add asafoetida and turmeric powder. Add ½ cup water and pressure cook till 3 whistles.
    2) To prepare the Tomato Puree, heat a pan add chopped tomatoes, grated beetroot and deseeded red chillies. Add ½ cup of water and cook until the tomatoes turn soft. Let it cool, then grind into a fine puree. Strain through a soup strainer.
    3) Churn the pressure cooked vegetable with a hand blender. Add some water if needed.
    4) Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, add tomato puree, chopped coriander, pav bhaji masala, and salt. Sauté until the masala starts oozing oil. Add chopped capsicum or bell peppers. Add butter and sauté for a minute. Add the vegetable puree. Let it boil. Add the grated cheese and mix until the cheese melts.
    5) To Prepare the Garlic Bread Cubes, heat butter in a pan, add crushed garlic and sauté for a few seconds. Add mixed herbs, chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt. Add the bread pieces and mix well. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes, until the bread turns a little crispy.
    To serve the Fondue, pour the fondue mixture into a fondue pot. Serve hot with garlic
