Savoury Cheese Cake 🧀| Delicious Take on a Classic Cheesecake

  • Hi everyone! 🎉 Today, let’s try a Savoury Cheese Cake recipe that’s perfect for any occasion. 🧀 This twist on the classic cheesecake will surprise you in the best way possible! 😋 Ideal as an appetizer or light meal, this dish is both easy and delicious.     INGREDIENTS FOR BISCUIT CRUST:
    Crack Jack biscuits 30
    Basil leaves 10-12 (optional)
    Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
    Butter as required
    INGREDIENTS FOR CHEESE CAKE:
    Fresh homemade paneer (chhena) 1 cup
    Hung curd ½ cup
    Grated cheese ¼ cup
    Green chilli 1
    Garlic clove 1
    Honey 1 tbsp
    Mustard paste 2 tsp
    Salt as per taste
    INGREDIENTS FOR THE TOPPING:
    Chopped cucumber 2 tbsp
    Chopped tomato 2 tbsp
    Chopped bell peppers 2 tbsp
    Chopped onion 1 tbsp
    Chopped Green chilli ½
    Chopped garlic 2 cloves
    Chopped basil leaves 4-5 / mint leaves 10-12
    Avocado chopped ½ piece
    Lemon juice 1 tsp
    Crushed black pepper as per taste
    Extra virgin olive oil 2 tsp
    Salt as per taste
    METHOD:
    1) Combine Crack Jack biscuits, basil leaves and coriander leaves. Coarsely churn them using the pulse mode. Add the required quantity of melted butter to bind the mixture together.
    2) Take a ring mould and place it on a plate. Prepare a ring of parchment paper that fits the inner side of the ring mould and arrange it inside the mould.
    3) Put the biscuit crust mixture in the ring mould, pressing it down to form a 1-inch thick layer. For a smaller cheesecake, use a paper cup and press the biscuit crust into it. keep these ring mould and paper cups in the fridge to set for about 10 minutes.
    4) To prepare cheese cake mixture, combine homemade chhena, hung curd, grated cheese, green chilli, garlic clove, honey, mustard paste, salt together. Grind it into a fine paste.
    5) Pour this mixture over the biscuit crust, creating a 1-inch-thick layer.
    6) Keep the cheesecake in the fridge to set for about 6-7 hours.
    7) To prepare the topping, combine all ingredients together. Mix well.
    8) Unmould the set cheesecake and top it with the topping prepared with vegetables. Serve chilled.
