I now live in Australia but I was born in South Africa and guess what ? it was my great grandfather together with my grandfather and my great granduncle that invented the Bunny Chow for the local africans since they were not allowed to sit at the table and eat due to apartheid. Our restaurant's name was Kapitan's Balcony Hotel and my great granduncle's restaurant was G C Kapitan's and sons. Soon all Indian restaurants began to sell the Bunny Chow. You cannot imagine the nostalgia that I felt when you were telling the story of the famous South African bunny chow. Thank you so much
