@@CreateNowSleepLater They do, it's the cintiq companion hybrid. The only thing with it though is they're at least $500 used, IF you can find one. Also they run old Android old 4.2
Yep. Tablets are just input devices. They don't care about which program you are using but you want to make sure they support pressure sensitivity which Krita does.
Hello! I'm considering buying one of these tablets and I'm worried about two things 1) any possible lag/delay when working with the tablet And 2) the screen being too small. What would you say about these two factors for the tablet. This will be my second tablet as my first was a cheap wacom intuos one with no screen. I wanted one with a screen to help with my accuracy of lines and to make it easier for myself. Appreciate the help!
Well, the size is small. You can move up to a 13 or even 16” but that is a budget decision. All EMR tablets have lag. It means the cursor can drag a little but the lines go down fine. There isnt a delay really.
Hi, I am looking for a design tablet which is compatible with Mac IOS. I haven’t done drawing digitally before but at serious about doing it as my work are looking for some cool drawings to add to the website. Is this device compatible with IOS and is it user friendly ? This review is great by the way !
Yes, you need a PC or laptop. You can use it with any software, it’s just a display. The pen is like a pen pressure mouse in a way. It’s just an input device.
how come when i draw in sketchbook it doesn't register pressure sensitivity at least not much. and if my screen is set to extend these displays like the guide shows. sketchbook pro doesn't show on my tablet and the mouse and pen functions are flipped??? pls help
Way too subjective. Im primarily a Windows person and like Lenovo for the most part. I would get something with a dedicated gpu and no less than an i5 with 16GB ram, ssd or nvme hard drive.
Hi, great video but my question is simply does it require a computer whilst drawing on the tablet. I know there is a computer required for driver install but does it need to be connected to a pc to use
You mean you want to trace something on the screen to draw on paper? Or you want to have a drawing on paper, place it on top of the display and trace what is on the paper into photoshop or something?
@@Savykunowo I still dont understand. If you put a piece of paper over the screen, you will be able to "see-through" it and pencil on top of the paper. I wouldnt do this. You'll damage it. If you are trying to place a picture of something already drawn on the screen so you can outline it (trace it) so it goes into the display on some drawing software, it might work if the paper is thin enough but would probably mess with the table pen pressure or pen tip. You can do the same thing by scanning in a picture. Place the scan in any drawing program and lower the opacity. Put a layer on top of it in photoshop for example and it would be like the same thing.

@@CreateNowSleepLater Well, nah. I have an HDMI port on my ASUS Vivobook. Since Apple makes bad laptops and only got like 2 USB-C ports, would Mac-tards be able to use the Arctis 12 Pro using an HDMI to USB-C (F to M) adapter? There are no minimum requirements other than you need HDMI and USB ports. Your video card in that laptop needs to do 1080p but any newer one will do that.

@@CreateNowSleepLater They do, it's the cintiq companion hybrid. The only thing with it though is they're at least $500 used, IF you can find one. Also they run old Android old 4.2
Jaimee Edwards that was it, I forgot it was that old. That’s useless then.
Can I switch out the pen and use a emr pencil like on the wacom one
You cannot.
I’m having trouble trying to connect the tablet to my old pc
What kind of trouble?
My pc doesn’t have an hdmi port so I brought VGA male adapter female HDMI
Hmmm, is that all you have is one vga port?
Yes will it work
What is the exact problem you’re having? I don’t think the tablet care about the adapter, it’s just converting a video signal. Maybe it’s the adapter?
What programs are good for this device?
Depends what type of art you do. The device doesn’t care.
@@CreateNowSleepLater oh ok thanks, do you have any recommendations for any free ones to start off with? :)
What kind of art?
What's the best software to use with the type of iPad?
This isn’t an iPad. This is a pen display. Are you looking for iPad info?
I didnt even consider the screen protectors... Hm... i wonder how it feels.
so it doesn't come with a display port?
It does not
Do u need to connect it to a computer
You do.
Can I draw with it if I haven't a PC?
You cannot. It needs a host pc or laptop.
Hi. Would Krita work with this tablet? Thank you in advance
Yep. Tablets are just input devices. They don't care about which program you are using but you want to make sure they support pressure sensitivity which Krita does.
Wait so do we need a computer for it?
Yes.
@@CreateNowSleepLater oh ok
Hello! I'm considering buying one of these tablets and I'm worried about two things
1) any possible lag/delay when working with the tablet
And 2) the screen being too small.
Can I make animations with it or is it just for drawing?
Sure, if it works with a mouse, it will work.
U can do powerpoind or word document wits it and u can broadcast what u doing on youtube or twich and u can use it on zoom class and write notes
Hi, I am looking for a design tablet which is compatible with Mac IOS. I haven’t done drawing digitally before but at serious about doing it as my work are looking for some cool drawings to add to the website. Is this device compatible with IOS and is it user friendly ? This review is great by the way !
MAC IOS? No. You are much better off with an iPad for IOS.
@@CreateNowSleepLater so I can’t use it with my MacBook ?!
MacBook yes but that doesn’t run IOS. Sorry I got confused.
@@CreateNowSleepLater don’t all MacBooks run IOS as there software
No, they run MACOS. IOS is specifically iPhones/iPads.
Is there brown as colour
You mean instead of black?
Does it run on 64 bit? that s my question.
64 bit windows? Yes.
Does the Artist 12 pro work on any type of laptop?
As long as you have the right connections.
I have two questions do you have to use a computer while you use the pad and could you do animations videos one this tablet?
Yes, you need a PC or laptop. You can use it with any software, it’s just a display. The pen is like a pen pressure mouse in a way. It’s just an input device.
hi can i ask, xp pen 12 pro can’t connect to tablet/android only computer?
Correct, this model is only computer.
how come when i draw in sketchbook it doesn't register pressure sensitivity at least not much. and if my screen is set to extend these displays like the guide shows. sketchbook pro doesn't show on my tablet and the mouse and pen functions are flipped??? pls help
You are using Windows?
Windows ink setting
Make sure that the app settings are the same as the binds in your driver.
Did u have any tablet before?
U need to delete drivers from before
What laptop is best to use with this
Mmm, I’d say choose your laptop on what software you want to run. The display won’t care.
@@CreateNowSleepLater 3d animimation and vfx. Something with tonnnes of space if im correct
You mean storage on the laptop? The display won’t care, there are laptop specific requirements other than connectivity.
@@CreateNowSleepLater what laptops would you recommend
Way too subjective. Im primarily a Windows person and like Lenovo for the most part. I would get something with a dedicated gpu and no less than an i5 with 16GB ram, ssd or nvme hard drive.
Is a computer required for this tablet?
Yes.
Or a laptop
Do you need 3 USB's on your laptop/PC to work the 12 pro?
Nope, you can use one usb for data and 1 for power. The third is for video. You can take one usb cable and use any phone charger too.
@@CreateNowSleepLater Thank you!!😄
I just got mine for christmas but am not able to download the app. .... help pliiiiiiz
What app?
you made me buy my tablet
Hi, great video but my question is simply does it require a computer whilst drawing on the tablet. I know there is a computer required for driver install but does it need to be connected to a pc to use
Yes it does, it’s literally just an external display and requires a host computer.
Do you have to be hooked to a laptop or PC for this to work? And what kind of system? And does it have to be hooked up the entire time?
You do. It’s just a pen enabled display and will not work on its own.
Can u draw on it without connecting to computer?
Nope, you need a host PC or Laptop.
Does xp artist 12 pro work with Macbook?
Yep.
Does it work with Mac?
Yep
When I'm using Type-C on my XP-Pen, my laptop is not producing sound. How do you solve this problem? My audio is fine with the cable with HDMI.
You might just need to set your sound output manually.
What if you dont have computer is that okay you can use it without computer?
No, you need a computer to hook it up to.
Really ok😔
@@CreateNowSleepLater loptop it is ok
Can u put a picture to trace?
You mean you want to trace something on the screen to draw on paper? Or you want to have a drawing on paper, place it on top of the display and trace what is on the paper into photoshop or something?
@@CreateNowSleepLater I mean u will put a base picture to the layer to trace..
Lol you can add a reference to your screen. Its just like a monitor
does it have a program built in or do i need something on top of what comes with it?
Art program?
@@CreateNowSleepLater i was looking to see if it had to use whats on the computer or if it had a native program built in? i saw comments later on saying it used whatever the pc did though? idk sorry
Sir, is this product is comfortable to use with hp i7 laptop for teaching plz reply
Comfortable how? To draw on? Use with the laptop? Should be fine.
Why ours takes long time to upload? HOW this could be a sign of defective product?
Not sure what you mean, upload? You mean turn on?
Can I use a USB-C to USB-C connector? Is it purely HDMI only? If so,will an HDMI to USB-C work?
To use with a Mac?
@@CreateNowSleepLater Well, nah. I have an HDMI port on my ASUS Vivobook. It's just that I use an external cooling system since I also game on this laptop, and that external cooling system covers up my HDMI slot bcuz it's a bit big. So I either sacrifice CPU cooling for a display, or I use my laptop's awful display to prolong the life of my hardware by keeping it as cool as possible
However, on the other side of my exhaust where my external cooling system sucks hot air out, there's a USB-C port. One I can use and still keep my cooling fan
---
But also, would it work with a Mac? Since Apple makes bad laptops and only got like 2 USB-C ports, would Mac-tards be able to use the Arctis 12 Pro using an HDMI to USB-C (F to M) adapter?
I only discovered that USB-C can be used in place of an HDMI/DisplayPort last night, so it may just be a dumb question
@@cqllel5186 I think the answer in both cases is yes. You are just converting the video signal and its not super hi-rez or anything.
@@CreateNowSleepLater As long as it works. I'm certain a 4k60 HDMI to USB-C adapter will be fine enough on 1080p displays
@@cqllel5186 I agree. Let us know how it works out.
So i can draw on it without needing a computer?
No, you need a computer or laptop. This is really just a display.
Thanks so much
hey i just unboxed this tablet and set everything up but when i open my art program ( clip studio paint ) the program will show up on my pc monitor but not my tablet screen how do i fix this?
You mean you can’t drag the window?
Do I have to buy photoshop with this, or does it come with some pre downloaded apps? I'm completely new to digital art and use to watercolors/pencil, so I have no clue about what art tablets are suppose to have
Photoshop is additional. There are free digital art apps depending on what kind of art you do, gimp, Krita, sketchbook pro. Clip studio is very reasonably priced and goes on sale all the time too.
Can the XP-Pen Pro 12 be used, without the computer, once everything is installed? And does it have to be plugged into power, or does it have a chargeable battery? Thanks!
It always needs a host computer. No chargeable battery either. You won’t find that in any pen display though.
@@CreateNowSleepLater Darn ok. Thanks! I bought it from Amazon, but haven't played with it. I guess my best bet is the ipad, with procreate, lol. Ugh, I didn't wanna spend that much on a drawing pad, but I want to be able to have a portable one. Thanks for the quick response!
@@CreateNowSleepLater Thanks! I ended up getting an ipad pro 4th gen, lmaooo. I wanted portability :) Thanks again for replying!
Enjoy, that’s a great art combo!
I got one recently it’s pretty good only thing that annoys me is the pen buttons
What annoys you about the pen buttons?

Hello, everyone. Is there any model of graph tab, with a battery incorporated?
Not dedicated, you would be looking at a mobile tablet or iPad.
@@CreateNowSleepLater Ok, thanks for the reply!
Is there high-quality cheap one time pay software for this graphic tablet? Something like procreate for computer that is compatible for this?
Clip Studio Paint, it frequently goes on sale but you just missed the black friday sale. Medibang painter and krita are free and pretty popular.
@@CreateNowSleepLater Ok, thank you!
I have this one and use it on an iMac, but there is something wrong with the drawing lines when I use Photoshop. It looks likes it shoots lines, it does not draw lines. Any suggestions?
Is this something new? I dont know MAC much but you want to clean those drivers out and start over. Is it just photoshop?
@@CreateNowSleepLater Yes, it worked perfectly, it's not only on Photoshop, I'v tried other programs. So it looks like it's the pen settings or something......
Or the driver is corrupted. I don’t know Mac but you can want to make sure you clear the driver out, reboot and then install from scratch.
Hello! This is probably really late but do you recommend buying the Cintiq 16 or this one? I’m mostly drawing as a hobby right now so what do you recommend? I also don’t know which one works better with my computer. It’s kind of old (it’s a Mac mini).
Does it have hdmi? It’s hard to say, that’s a big size difference. If you need the size, go for the 16”.
Does it work with the hp Windows 14-cf1010ds?
There are no minimum requirements other than you need HDMI and USB ports. Your video card in that laptop needs to do 1080p but any newer one will do that.
So can I hold this on my lap? I've never had an art tablet, just an iPad, and I'm looking to upgrade, but I like to draw on my lap like with my knees up. Would that work?
I think so, it’s small enough.
Ok thank you!
I just got 0ne of these for Christmas. It's my first one I don't really know how to sow anything. I have downloaded the software thing but for some reason when I move the mouse it goes on the tablet. At first it wasn't like this everything I done on computer showed on tablet but now it's not.
Is this normal? What should I do?
Its hard to tell what the problem is, Are you saying the pen doesnt appear on the tablet?
@@CreateNowSleepLater I fixed that but another problem has occurred. When I put the pen on the tablet it's not accurate. The little mouse thing is down from it a little.
Have you run the pen calibration?
@@CreateNowSleepLater yes I just done that thank you. What's the best free drawing app for windows?
