I'm pretty set on buying Run 8 for the realistic physics. But this game looks great too. I'm sold now that TSM has the CN Oakville Subdivision. It feels more immersive and really captures the industrial feel of the Hamilton-Oakville area. I grew up in this area in the late 80s/early 90s. If they expanded the Oakville sub to make it longer (to go from Hamilton to say...Oshawa) it would be perfect. Big industries along here include the Stelco steel mill in Hamilton, Ford plant in Oakville, coal/gas fired power plants and refineries around Port Credit/Mississauga, Union Station in Toronto, and the nuclear power plant in Pickering. This is part of the Golden Horseshoe, which is a really complex rail network with CP and CN track everywhere.
I live in the area this DLC is in, we have passenger trains here called GO Transit. Would love if they added that as a DLC to this DLC. VIA Rail also uses two stations in this DLC along with Amtrak. You do not actually need to blow a horn at crossings in the Toronto area either, everywhere is a "quiet zone".
Great video. I live about 40 minutes away from that area. So I could kinda relate. There are a lot of tracks though, especially if you're going to Toronto by Union Station and the Skydome, where the Blue Jays play.
I'm sorry man, but I couldn't watch the whole video. You need to know how to play, or operate, this 'simulation' like a real railway, or at least a model railway. Too much head movement, no clue on how to line up your tracks, braking issues, etc. You shouldn't be posting this.
Well.. thanks i guess lol. Im still a noob to trains as i have mentioned before. So i heavily depend on community feedback to learn to be more realistic. So tips are appreciated 😉

Holy some kinda train handling there. Kicks the brake off and goes right to throttle 4 that’s one way to ripper apart.
