- Today we finally install an exhaust onto Isah's Ls430. He's been talking about it for months and finally got around to getting valved mufflers. Now with the Lexus sounding proper what's next on the list of modifications? Suspension? Body work? Wheels? We'll See...

Pulling vacuum from the engine is ideal , this would allow you to open the valve above a certain rpm. Making the butterfly work with the engine would keep back-pressure for low rpm torque and open up high rpm for a better power curve ! Most early 2000s Ferraris use this exact method! Great video loved it !
Its funny to see Aki so work! simple work but work. Revving the Car, and raising the support (ben yelled at him fair bit, "Perfect Perfect ayy ayy ayy") but the car sounds great! I bet Isah is ecstatic.

I just got a LS430 two months ago and the first thing I did was a muffler delete 👌
Are you content with the sound that it makes? Also out of curiosity, how much was the muffler delete? I've been wanting to do it to my 2004 LS..
@@galovillacis1883 it didn’t cost me anything I just got a sawzall and cut off the mufflers I haven’t done any piping yet, it sounds good it isn’t loud

Doing the same exact setup on my 3rd gen GS430, isn't there too much backpressure if you FULLY close the valves shut ? Shouldnt it still have a little gap to allow gases to exit ?
I would say if you have the valves closed you’re probably not doing the kind of driving that would require a lot of flow. When you are pedal to the metal, the valves being open is a good idea.
