Personally I like making Lillith Study the Neutral Magics because I feel like she wants to be a good person but she doesn't really feel like she is because of how her parents prioritized Angela over her
I can see her being neutral too, and she may sway that way eventually. 😀
@@PleasantSims Yeah, I do feel like she'd be completely different if she never grew up with her parents since she has alright relationships with her grandparents and Auntie Jennifer and her family, maybe the Burbs and Oldies never visit often which is why the relationships aren't as high as they could be?

don and the calientes will never not be a central part of a sims 2 video, it's just impossible haha. this is hilarious. i honestly feel like lilith would actually want to be a witch (evil of course) and angela would only become one to spite her since she's so competitive. anything you can do, i can do better!! maybe they'll both, em, deal with their parents with their newfound powers! as a side note i did NOT recognise Goopy without his cowboy get up.

Angela the God, Lilith the Bad and Lucy the Neutral could be a really fun spin-off series.

If you make them learn all the neutral spells before they learn their alignment spells they will have access to the most number of spells possible, including the spell that freezes time.

It's all a matter of perspective, I guess. LOL. But they can always change their alignment, so maybe Lilith will realize she's not as evil as she thought.
I made Lilith a witch yesterday, she dropped out of college and helped the Oldie's but after Dirk cheated on her, she turned very bitter and started hanging with the evil witch and became one. Lilith had cast a few spells on her dad. I need a good witch in Pleasantview. Won't be Angela, though I'm not sure exactly who yet, I'll know when I play again. I do love your idea and how you did this while they were teenagers, I wouldn't have thought of it.

I'd go with Cassandra I think. She's kind but also a troubled soul.

When I first got witches in Apartment life. Angela and Lilith were the first two I turned into witches. Eventually Lucy too. Played it very similar to the show Charmed with them dating other occults and drama.
Btw, I have a video idea for you. Riverside was supposed to be one of the original Sims 2 neighborhoods, but they got rid of it during development. Maybe you could download the hood and make us some kind of info video about it!!
Lucy Burb is my evil witch! She ended up marrying a llama mascot in college and he's also an evil warlock, although less so than Lucy is. The cackling is my favourite animation. 😂

Every-time I play the pleasant household, I always send Angela and Lilith to college to get a degree and mend their relationships. Never have thought of turning them into witches lmao. Thanks pleasant sims, you encouraged me to backup and start a new Pleasantview save file lol

I never turned the Pleasant sisters into witches, for some reason I always like to play my Pleasantview very down-to-earth... then again, in my current playthrough Angela and Lilith both abandoned their own passions to become ruthless businesswomen who constantly strive to outcompete each other, all in the name of their petty rivalry. So, I guess it's just a different type of unrealistic 😅
Same. I have never played occults in Pleasantview...it just seems so much better as a "normal" 'hood.
I love your idea of them competing as businesswomen. That really suits them!
Since the witches/warlocks are my favorite in Sims 2, I do so many combinations of good and evil within households. I do use a mod that allows them to use neutral spells without it changing their alignment, a mod to just rid of the greenness, but I like the sparkly good witches (which they do not start with, until their alignment is maxed out, and a mod to allow for everyday clothing), and I like to send them to the castles to study, because they can learn faster and just keep sitting on the thrones to max all needs.
My favorite Pleasantview household to play good vs. evil is if I marry Mortimer- good and Dina- evil &/or Cassandra- good & Don- neutral to evil. In Strangetown, I love making the entire town witches, but it always starts with the Beakers (Loki - evil, Circe- neutral to evil and Nervous is always good), the Curious household I randomize, except for Vidcund (always making him a good witch, because of Loki/Circe twist), the Grunts: my storylines get complex, because General Buzz and Tank are kind of occultaphobic, so I normaly make Ripp a good witch first, and when General Buzz realizes Ripp's power, he seeks out wisdom, & learns that both he and Tank should become evil warlocks ( by using the clothing mod, I do have to go to a mirror when their alignment goes up a certain amount of levels or decreases levels, so this definitely fits the Grunts secret identities better) and Buck will always become good too when he ages up... The Smith's are all usually good, except for Jill when she ages up (she becomes a rebellious teen for me), and if any more children are born, I play according to the vibes)... The Specters: Olive- evil & Ophelia- good... With the bin Sims: AJ Loner is good, while The Singles range from a 50/50 mix to all but one in the same alignment, as I do for the townies that I move into households and universities. With many of the teens, I prefer to turn and then send to uni where they can take advantage of learning both magic and educating themselves, while they can use the throne to keep needs up.
I did start my witch/warlock gameplay with Belladonna Cove (it started with the Cordial sisters), but I forgot to age them all down first for Uni, because I wanted the whole uni experience with a lot of the characters (when my new computer is finished, I will start fresh there).
Veronaville was more of a challenge for me, so I rolled the dice on which family would be good and which would be evil, and did a few playthroughs until I found which worked best. The Capps were (for the most part all neutral to evil, with the exception of Juliet (she was the only one to be good), while the Monty family was all neutral to good, with the exception of Mercutio, who becomes evil after seeing his love kiss Puck... which brings me to the Summerdream family, they range from neutral to good, with the exception of Bottom when she ages up, another rebel to become evil.
I have gone into the other neighborhoods, but did not really turn the entire neighborhoods, will save that for when I merge them all in stealth neighborhoods.
I also love playing other occult along with witches/warlocks, so vampires (especially) who become witches/warlocks definitely take advantage of the thrones, using them for study purposes, even during the day. I always take large groups whenever playing uni to the castles, where they can interact with one another, keep up with their studies, and study magic.
I also love the spectral cats for both alignments. And it is so funny to see how they react when with the opposing alignment.
Also, I have found that hobby lots (particularly, the nature lot) will often generate both good and evil high witches, at the same time. But if you cannot find a witch/warlock of your preferred alignment, you can always befriend the other alignment, just don't double click the "show me the path..." because that maxes one's alignment at the start, making it a lot harder to go into the opposite direction.
Sorry for my novel comment, I just really love the Sims 2 witches/warlocks, and feel they add so much more spice, drama, personality, intrigue than any other occult in any Sims series! 👍
I love the idea of them becoming witches! It makes so much sense. I honestly love TS2 witches they're so much fun to play!
I've played with witches a couple times. The NPC elder witch moved in with my popstar Sim and she bullied other Sims (also accidentally turned my politician woman into a witch because i didn't know the spell lol). Also, since we have the inflammo spell, I set some Sims on fire because the witch had the knowledge aspiration and wanted to see a ghost. Unfortunately she died of old age before the ghosts even came out which sucked.But it was fun.
When I go back to Strangetown I'm gonna try and get more super natural creatures since I feel like that town would be perfect for witches, vampires, plant Sims and zombies.
I agree! I think ST is perfect for occults. Maybe there's something in the water there. 😆 I really want to start playing with them more!

Witches are my favorite occults. There's a high level light spell that can improve two sims' relationship, so maybe that could finally fix some of the family problems. Likewise there's also a high level dark spell that can break up a married couple, so there's definitely some interesting gameplay options here.
I would love to see more of this! Maybe even turn some other residents of Pleasantview into Occults too... I think Don Lothario would fit nicely into Vampire Life

It's really cool to see you make Lillith and Angela witches. Witches are the only occults I play frequently in the Sim 2.
I've always wondered if I could make a neighbourhood with mostly witches in it and will try if I have the time.
I always start with the cordial sisters as they are set up with high friendship with the good and evil high witches so all u have to do is invite them over and ask to teach. Normal or neutral witch is also a thing but it wasn't as fleshed out as the other two... I like making witchy shops where I sell all things witch related. Super fun!

I never played occults before vampire in the sims 4, and since then I love occults... I missed so much not playing them in the past games. I could say that I played the sims 1 making magic, but did not go far in the spells etc... I wanted the dragons really ahah.
It was interesting that Lilith had much higher magic than Angela right off the bat. The last time I played a witch, I made her a vampire and werewolf. Interesting, to say the least.

The sparkles have to do with alignment. It will be Dark or Light depending on which one gives you the power. The immediate level of alignment depends on 1) Light or Dark (which one gives you the powers) and how well your sim is suited for that alignment. Let's just say that fighting with your sister and skipping school works well for the Dark alignment... Magic skill is another matter. (and Lilith began first).
Notice how Angela didn't find the good witch when she should have been at school? I thought that a definitely good witch isn't going to encourage skipping school...
Otherwise: Try 10 Nice for the Light mentor and 0 for the Dark one.
I have followed you for a while, but I just wanted to come and say now that I really really really love your channel and your Sims 2 videos. I have played Sims 2 since I was 7 years old (now 21) and I still play it daily. It’s my favourite game and I love to see someone else playing and doing videos about my fav game! And I’m so glad people haven’t forgotten the game and are still playing such an old game, and are excited to watch videos about it.

I played with witches in the sims 2 but i don't enjoyed the magic as much as i did with Sims 1 Makin' Magic.

The part where Don gets caught cheating in the park reminds me of something that happened to me when I played sims 2. Don got invited by his new vampire gf I made him have to go downtown with a group. I accepted, and went to some club. When I got there, the "group" his vampire girlfriend set up was LITERALLY ALL of Don's girlfriends!! It was such a mess but also insanely hilarious lmao

I think you're probably on to something there, but Lilith is going through something here. Angela is faking it and I think Lilith will come around and realize she's not evil, she's only been made to believe she's bad.

I'd love to see this turned into a series! I'm BIG occult simmer, so these kinds of things really delight me. I usually have my good witches go around and try to fix the disasters my bad witches cause, trying to balance the forces of good and evil.

i loved this video! by the way, you don't need a good witch to become a good witch or an evil witch to become an evil witch, you can get turnt into a witch by good witch and still can be evil because you have an option to study to both evil and good spells.

I love that the girls are witches! I have a sim that is a warlock in my Prosperity hood. He started out evil since that's the witch he first met (and he rolled the want) but he's more or less neutral right now. I don't know if he's truly cut out to be an evil warlock but his wife is in the criminal career. I have a mod that gets rid of the green skin, too. It was just, wow, too much! Ah, good ol' Don! Just doesn't know when to stop. I like to think Mary Sue talking to her daughter about babies is giving her "The Talk". LOL!

I never seem to have any problems with witches showing up in my game. More often than not one shows up anytime I send my sims to a community lot. I always know one's coming because my game lags badly when one shows up. I also seem to get the bad witch more often than the good witch. I'd like to see where this goes.
In one of my pleasantview play throughs I made Lucy Burb a witch
I play all occults, and I used to play with a mod that removes the ingredient requirement, but then I had the idea that I could make a business out of it… and now only rich witches can actually perform magic xP

In my game, Angela married Dustin and had a kid called June with him. They broke up. Lilith married Dirk and had 4 kids (Helena, Lyanna, Ciara and Damon). Lilith becane a witch and became friends with fellow witch with Bella.

I would always make Angela peak in high school and Lilith would go on to become a doctor or lawyer. Lilith has always come off as misunderstood, not a problem child to me.

Yay, amazing video as always! I’ve just had a thought - could you consider making a video breaking down the relationship system? I’ve played this game since before i can remember and i seem to still be learning new things (had no idea there was a daily and lifetime relationship until i started watching you) and i think it would be cool to include the chemistry / sexuality system too since i don’t think it gets the credit it deserves and I’d love to learn more about how it works.
