INTEX 28637EG C1000 Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 1000 GPH Pump Flow Rate
The Intex Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump is a simple and easy to use pump that can be used with Intex pools up to 6,000 gallons. It has a flow rate of 1,000 GPH and is 110-120V with GFCI. It is suitable for use with 15-foot Easy Set, 15-foot Metal Frame, or 18-foot by 10-foot Oval Frame pools with a hose fitting diameter of 1.25 inches. The pump has an air release valve to prevent air from being trapped in the filter chamber and should not be operated for more than 8 hours per day. It comes with Type A filter cartridges and has a one year manufacturer warranty from Intex. It is easy to install, simply hook up the hoses and plug it in.

I have this pump for my 15x48 intex. As long as you run this at minimum 4hrs per day and stay on top of maintenance (ie: shock, chlorine…etc) water will stay clear. Not a bad pump and you can extend life of filter if you clean it by running water hose through it

@@412ko8 Once you are ready to turn ur pump on the trick is to not have your pump too high or too low, but level with the two hoses. Use a pitcher & fill both hoses & the filter completely up with water. Turn your pump on & submerge the “intake” hose so it starts to suck water into the filter. Once your pump is running, you can raise or lower the pump to its permanent spot. The trick is keeping water in tubes & pump before you turn it on.

Good pic not a overkill, but should be able to quickly do the job quite efficiently and still be able to pull bottom vacuum

Bro it filters 1,000 gallons of water an hour, that kitty pool is maybe 200 gallons? It filters the entire pool in 10 minutes. I have it for my kids 12x12 Intex pool.

This is a great video I am trying to fill my pump the way you did before I start but no luck. I have a similar setup any advise how to fill pump, when I try it just come out of the other hose.
Humm make sure you don't just fill the pump but the intake hose as well because otherwise the water suction will be lost due to large air pockets. Fill the pump with water using a small jug, fill the intake hose using the fill motion as demonstrated to reduce gaps, and then tighten the screw at the top.
@@ClearLooks I found out if you hold both intake and outlet hoses upright and then fill it it will prime the pump and start after gently laying down the pool hoses. Thank you.

Maybe an hour or two? It's been a while, I can't recall. The water was dirty, not easy to see in the video, because we have a lot of trees near the deck.
