Hi! Well some people seem to use vinegar for that purpose but it is generally not recommended as there will be side effects that will deteriorate the quality of your pool water. It would then be better to use the hydrochloric acid. I can't recommend other effective methods as I haven't tried them.. I hope that answers the question a little at least..

Hey MRJC! We gave the pool away after season one to make room to experience the next one. Not sure how it is doing now or what happened to it! For us it was totally fine for a season, and I would imagine quite a few more....
I am in Australia and this was a great video! I was lucky enough to get a near new Bestway pool with filter for only $5. No instructions with it of course but worth the risk! I am just filling it now. I was also lucky enough to get a huge roll of carpet underlay of Facebook marketplace for free so that is what we have put under ours. We had an old tarp that we've put over part of ours for shade as I also live in a very hot place. And it rains so I've rigged up something for the pump to keep it off the ground and protected if it rains. But thank you so much for all this great information to get me started1

Hi Andrew what I've been doing is just take the tablet out when they play in the pool, then back in after use. We didn't wait in between. It seems to dissolve fast so that way we have had no issue at all.
I'm still struggling with it bro .. although I'm using a large filter pump .. and mop the pool on a daily basis .. and using a chlorine tablets with its float .. and cleaning the filter every day .. still it's getting green water .. I'm really upset with all that efforts I'm spending still it's not clear 😥

They seem to be fairly expensive Bestway sells them for 12$ a pack of 8 pieces and 3mm thickness, however, I need 9 packs for the pool I’m getting which is 4m * 4m. Should the filter be on constantly?
We run the filterpump overnight.
Does the filter pump have a safety feature in it , so if water leaked into the electronics of the pump does it automatically shut off ?
That is not something I have experienced and I'm also not aware of reference to that in the manual..

Hi there, we use the pump overnight. Not when we are using the pool. And the same for the chlorine. We put it in a floater and leave it in all night.
