This is probably one of the most well made videos on deadlifting that ive seen. Thank you for explaining how to "pack" your lats in such an effective and easy way.

Finally! I’ve waited so long for the video with Eugene! Everyone should follow him on his Instagram and TH-cam. Many great tips, very knowledgeable and he is one of the rare trainers that are trying to answer all questions.

The breathing technique is useful for all exercises. Try it when you Squat, bench press, overhead press, etc. Excellent tip.

Bro!!! For the longest I’d feel my lower back too much when deadlifting. Now with these cues specifically cue #3 I didn’t feel my back the entire deadlift session. Driving my legs outwards will take some getting used to but definitely made a difference thanks so much!!! lol I’m sore today

whoa breaking down the breathing technique to engage the lat is ingenious - i just kind of focus on keep my shoulders down and squeeze the bar lol - this is some amazing knowledge 🙏

This might be the greatest deadlift tutorial I've seen. After watching hundreds of videos overcomplicating this exercise I found a video that's explained it perfectly.

Best mind/body connection I’ve ever felt doing a deadlift 💕 thank you , can’t wait to see the results. I’ve had a L4 f 5 disc rupture yrs ago and cannot feel any pain fully engaging my muscles w the detailed techniques 🙏😘

    Excellent video.
I always fail to engage my lats (by whatever that means when they say "keep lats in your back pocket" ). Hope this simple cue will help me to engage my lats.

It's really 5. Pushing away like it's a leg press is a huge queue you added - great work though :)

Great video! This is the best way to explain proper cues to someone learning the exercise. Of course there is more to it in terms of positioning and the actual lift itself but these four cues are game changers in terms of form.

Awesome! That helps my blowback a lot. Could you give cues fir "B-Stance" bilateral deadlifts?

Really cool cues. I'm going to try them right away. It answered a question of mine I had for some time concerning what we should do with our scrapulas (retracting all the way or not). Thanks Eugene and MindPumpTV.

Tell you what I just bought some farmers handles and have been doing some static famers carries for time, listening to Brian Alsrhue my overall strength including my bench press my dips with more weight and dead lifts are just going up ,just gripping those handles really hard is just dragging muscles into movements, wish I would of looked at performance based approach which is great you get a functional body and the added bonus is the aesthetics.

    • @chriscampos7217

What percentage of Body weight to farmers handel are you using. I'm 185 so how much shou each handle be loaded.
      Thanksl
