Hello, Ellie, this is my new TH-cam channel!! Feel free to subscribe as I'll be adding new content in the future!! Stay safe and healthy!! Love and hugs from America!! #TeamEllie4Life 💪🐻💛🎗
I started thinking about you recently and hoping all was good. So proud of your success and wishing you the best for your future. No doubt, you will be a fantastic Dr., compassion and knowledge. Thanks for your update.
Hey Ellie, I'm so happy for you getting into the med school you wanted to get in and getting so far in remission and life in general. I'm starting medicine this spring semester in Berlin and I'm so much looking forward to it! Of course the whole Corona situation is unfortunate for starting uni, but there's no way around it and we need to keep each other safe. I'd love to hear about your journey with medicine, so I'm really happy you'll keep us updated on that. Stay safe and have a good time!
Ellie u really deserve your place at medical school/ uni, you should be so proud of yourself. All your teachers and Mrs Holmes should be so proud of you aspeshaly your family. You are an inspiration to us all thank you for that and being an amazing friend. A - Levels = stress, no time for yourself and mental break downs with an amazing support team at TENC.
You're amazing and I'm so happy for you! I've been a patient myself (chronic gi problems) and now studying medicine too. It's such an incredible feeling to help people with empathy and love (and also to be on the other side of the bed :). So good luck with your journey, cheering up for you!
A new video finally!! So glad to hear from you. I'm glad to hear that your health is doing relatively well. You are absolutely doing the right thing by listening to your body and starting medical school when you feel is best. I hope your efforts to strengthen your body goes the way you need it to. Many prayers for you!!
God you’re looking so well Ellie. Just watched an earlier video of yours (‘my cancer story’) and you look and sound unrecognisable. Taking a year out to recharge the batteries is a great idea. In terms of diet, 3k calories per day is wise. I’d also add a green juice every morning as the infusion of nutrients throughout the body really helps energy levels...it’s worked wonders for me. Wishing you all the best for the future hon.
Great to see you back making videos again and it's great to see you doing so well! Looking forward to following your journey through your gap year and furthermore into your journey through medicine, good luck with it all! xx
I have I absolutely loved watching you grow through all the challenges that have been thrown at you, you are truly an inspiration. I am so glad I’ve gotten to know you. And I cannot wait to see the next chapter of your life. Stay safe much love!!!
You should try reacting to music while we are all at home locked down?? Try reacting to ' Van Halen- ain't talkin bout love ' You have a healthy glow about you :) So many peeps are reacting to music & would be interesting to hear ur perspective :)
Could you do a video on your gap year plans in more detail? From what jobs in the hospital you’re looking to do, when and where in Australia you want to go, etc
Emily E x Yes, definitely! Admittedly, I haven’t thought too much into it yet. But over the next couple of months I should have a better idea of what I’m going to do, so I will make a video then . 😊
I live near keele I think you would be a fabulous doctor. I sometimes talk to medical students about being disabled. I hope to see you at some point. I wondered how you were going.
Maybe you could do hair growth after cancer? I am in remission and I am curious how long it took for your hair to grow long as I am really self-conscious about mine (it's still quite short). I am glad you are doing well, keep safe!
Interesting, I see you are wearing a Hollister, Ca tee shirt. I live very close to there. I hope you achieve your goal of becoming a doctor. I hope you are able to chart your doctor workload around your CFS, but I believe it can be done. Here in the US I have a doctor friend who joined a private practice that allows her to work part time. I had a hysterectomy when I was 28 and I was miserable. I had both my ovaries removed. It was like a shock to my system. Within a few days I was so grumpy and agitated. I just turned my head facing the wall in bed and didn’t want to talk to anyone. Plus I had hot flashes and other things come up. Finally I knew I had to do something. I called my doctor and she put me on Premarin. Within a few days I pretty much felt back to my old self as far as not having anything menopause related. Wishing you the best of luck.

Anika Baddeley Thats amazing that you help educate the Keele medical students, I hope to see you in the future!
Australia is a great country highly recommend coming here. Maybe after covid.
Would love to see how the building up fitness is going. Your year off seems very sensible.
Ngl, I'm sad you're not coming to UEA as that's where I go. But you'll be fab x
It was such a hard decision for me as UEA is amazing, but Keele seems a better fit for me. Thank you! X
