Thanks very much for the tour of your Lyriq tech model. It saved me considerable time trying to learn all of the differences from the sport and luxury models. Very informative.
Interesting how the "Tech" trim is missing all of the tech...
Yes, exactly. If I would have appreciated how much is missing I probably would have spent the extra to get a level 2
The tech trim is the base model. Of course it won’t come standard with *all of the tech.*
The lyriq is perfect, beautiful, comfortable and elegant. Thank you !!
Excellent. A friend of mine just got the Tech trim even though the Luxury was what he really wanted. The lease deal (Southern California) was just too good to pass up. And he still loves the car.
Great review. Very insightful. Better than the dealership overview.
Thanks for the honest review. I have liked and subscribed. You never mention the Luxury or Sport Level 1. I drove a level 1 Sport. By far best EV I have driven. No comparison with the model Y. The Model Y has that plain interior, very rough ride, and no buttons for convenience. The GV70 EV was the closest to the Lyric but the Lyriq is even a better ride and better value. I'm going to look up the difference between Lyriq Level 1 & 2 but will probably end up with a Hyundai Ionic 5 as the Lyric is beyond my budget.
We bought an Ionic 6 a few weeks ago. I posted a video about it. I really like it also. I just like the Lyriq ride better, but Hyundai makes a great car, and there are many things I like better about it. I really like Hyundai safety suit, like blind spot and their lane keep, better than the Lyriq
My Mother has the Red Passion Tricoat XT5 and I'm sure she'd love to have a Radiant Red Lyriq. She loves my Lyriq.
Argent Silver, 22's, Sky Cool Grey interior, SPORT 3 with 19KW charger and Power Moonroof.
The issue, however, is that I doubt she has the patience for public charging and she'd need the NEMA 14-50 port added onto her house for home charging.
She's retired and doesn't drive many miles per week but as an older woman, I'm sure she's more comfortable with gas.
The XT5 and XT6 use regular unleaded and fully loaded COST LESS than my Lyriq by far.
Hard to sell Lyriqs here lately.
I enjoyed your review a ton. It’s helped me realize a lot about this vehicle, I have eliminated the idea of a tech or level 1 trim
Thanks for the review, I am looking at the Lyriq. I have a 2013 CTS4 and the stereo system is a Bose and is wonderful. Just wondering if the sport or luxury have a comparable sound system?
Thank you for the video💥
Thanks for the video! I have the tech version and my one complaint is that the sound system does kind of suck. Even when you put it at it at max volume it still is not very loud. I thought I had a defective sound system actually when I first got the car
Quite the endorsement getting a second! Nice video. Thanks for the comparison. It’s really helpful.
How is the AC working.I just went to test drive one and the AC was really disappointing wasn't blowing cold air
How is the stereo in the Luxury 2? I’m interested in getting one but I keep hearing bad things about the stereo sound and low volume etc.
The level 2 stereo is much better than the Tech and Level 1. But not nearly as good as other top end stereos.
Best revu I've seen
Thank you. I wanted to show difference between the Tech version. So many reviews on the Level 2 and 3, but no show much on base version
@@TheGrumpyReviews and you took the extra time to show it at night
The upper dashboard to upper door alignment is horrifically bad on the left side of the car. It would drive me nuts to look at that every day. Is there anyway they can fix it? These are beautiful cars, but when I look at them on the lot, there are way too many fit and finish issues.
So basically if you don’t need the super cruise it’s better to get the blazer with options for cheaper lease and car insurance from what I’m gathering.
I bet you can get a level 2 with Super Cruise cheaper now than the Blazer. I am seeing some great lease deals.
For some reason I like the Chevy Blazer EV a bit more but the Blazer EV doesn't have the RWD yet, witch is the one i want
wow almost the same conclusion as us. We tried the lyriq and tesla way too many times, we decided to go with the lyriq lux 2 and not the tech trim as it was too basic. The model y wins over the tech lyriq hands down but the lux2 is just more refined. One thing you missed was the passenger side seating between the tech and lux which is a big deal for people with bad backs. This is why we didn't go with Tesla
I agree, I love my wife's level 2. I do regret getting the tech version after owning it for a little bit. We just took a long road trip to Miami, about 2000 miles round trip. Super Cruise would have been nice. But overall like the car.
Wow you bought a second one....
Yeah I did. But should have really got another level 2
Awesome car
Get rid of the black plastic around the wheel wells, would look a lot classier. This putting plastic on a cars exterior is for the birds.
This was not an exciting review at all
over priced for a car that cant drive you home.
