Another great video and (re)build! Subscribed! Duh!
Thanks for subbing
Next time you take the belts off a fully recommend the AB double sheer mounts, why it’s not standard on all I have no idea
Oh cool thanks for the tip. That looks like a much better mechanical design!
great video!!
Thank you!!
Can I get the STLs for your remix of the Bowden back panel. Thanks
Yeah, I should have put that up on Printables before - www.printables.com/model/855267-rotating-mod-v0-upper-rear-bowden-inlet-urbi-for-v
Im assuming you still have the old 0.1 electronics in this machine? Trying to figure ou thow to get the waveshare 2.8 hooked up to the new catalyst board, It uses a different DSI port so the same 2.8 i have on my 0.1 doesnt work plug and play with the catalyst board the fysetc R1 kit has
No, I changed to the stock V0.2 configuration.
I'm not familiar with those boards, but I did have a hard time getting the display to work as well.
Did you find that the eSun ABS+ wasn't very good in the end? Did you reprint with different ABS?
It has been a long time since I printed the original parts so I don't recall what they were printed with. I think the parts that failed were ASA. I replaced most of the printed parts with the CNC machined aluminum part and definitely think that is worth the upgrade.
I did re-print the parts for the toolhead though. Those were printed in 3DXTech CarbonX EzPC
@@designbydave 2 minute mark you said eSun ABS+ th-cam.com/video/rCdsNLdoFZU/w-d-xo.html
I'm told the 2.4 is far less fiddly to assemble.
I can see that being the case. It's larger so at the very least you are working with larger fasteners as well as there just generally being more room to work.
Id buy a bamboo and a fire extinguisher.
