Cilbir is probably one of the best breakfast egg recipes ever and surely one of my favorite breakfast recipes. The garlicky yogurt base together with the spiced butter, the creamy eggs so as the fresh herbs play together really well in this recipe! Have you ever had Cilbir before in Turkey or somewhere else? And if you tried the recipe, let me know how you liked this flavorful Turkish egg recipe!

That looks really good! I like the fact you can control how much of the spiced butter you put on the eggs, which in my case would probably be half a teaspoon. Thank you! Excellent video.

Hi Rick, thank you for your thoughts on the recipe. Yes, altough Pul Biber ia a bit less spicy compared to peperoncino, but you can easily start with half a tsp as you said. 👍😊

is Alleppo pepper hot ? you have added quite a bit

Thanks for the question. Aleppo Pepper is a bit milder and sweeter compared to peperoncino chili flakes. Also will the butter and yogurt reduce the heat as well. So, if you like spicy food in gemeral, you're safe with the amount used in the recipe. But you can for sure start with a little less when preparing it the first time 😊

Haklısın. Aslında yoğurt Türk'lere ait bir yiyecek. İlk önce Asya Türk'leri yapmış. Zaten yoğurt adı da Türkçe'den geçmiştir.

In fact, yoghurt already belongs to the Turks.
