You probably have a different style door. Is there a long skinny tube across the top? If so, that’s your spring inside the tube. You’ll have to replace that whole thing or you’ll be better off converting it to the style in this video.
@@jermaineharrison4782 no problem but you’ll definitely want to convert that to a torsion bar and springs like the one in this video, not super cheap but probably half the price of replacing the one you have.
I just saw a video where you raise the gate manually and lock it with a vice grip then replace the cable w/out dealing with the springs.
A king amoung men, this just happend to a place im house sitting, saved me heaps

So what happens if both cables are lose? Also i have no sping in sight.
