A little late to the comments but at 60 years old ( in a few days) I’m just starting out with DaVinci studio and I must thank you on your passion and delivery of info. I’m 1 month new to DaVinci and can honestly say that your channel has helped me the most by far . ! Well done!
I'm 62 and have been using Resolve for about a year. I figured it's time to start getting more involved in the creative part of video editing. Daniel's channel has been most instrumental in my continuing education into something that seems so alien to my brain. Thanks for your comment and thanks to Daniel for the channel. Well done indeed!
I have watched your transition from the past editing software, and you are incredible with knowledge. I have been in the music, tech, and video presentation business for over 30 years. You are very accurate with your teaching, and your lessons help me create better "cutting-edge" solutions for my clients. Thank you for being you . . .
Every time I watch Daniel’s instructional videos, I cannot stop praising in my mind his outstanding skills as a teacher. While most other instructors on TH-cam are actually talking to themselves by showing you “if I want such and such, I can do such and such,” Daniel is thinking through his viewers and illuminating their minds. Honestly, I can do better and save some time by reading the 4,000 page Blackmagic manual than spending time on watching most instructional videos on TH-cam. But Daniel is a totally different story. He does not only show me what to do, but also tells me what is in, out, and behind. His analogy of guitar playing clicks immediately on me as a musician myself.
Daniel, Daniel - someone said it in the comments already but allow me to repeat it - This tutorial is PURE GOLD! You call yourself a noob, and I like that you're so modest, but you are actually a maestro. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this complicated, and threatening, topic and making it so clear.
@@Daniel_Batal I'm working on this tutorial now and decided I wanted to start over to practice the steps again. When I tried to delete the keyframes I ran into a veritable s--t storm of troubles. I've tried everything, including ChatGPT, which can be helpful at times, but the more I try the worse it gets. This is the most difficult part of Resolve IMO. When things go wrong, they go REALLY wrong. I'm gonna delete my project and start from the beginning. If you know of a good video out there that deals with Fusion keyword weirdness, please direct me to it. Failing that, might you be persuaded to take us on a deep dive through keyword features and issues in Fusion? TIA
Dan, you are a great teacher. You have demystified this for me and i had Davinci resolve running and went thru all your steps right down to saving on my local drive. Thanks!!

@@Daniel_Batal You're welcome!! I'm so thankful for the time that you've put into these videos which have helped me to understand the Fusion tab in DaVinci Resolve 💯

Daniel, Lovely video:the way I, at the age of 67 years, was looking for over 2 months, of deciding, to learn video editing in Da Vinci resolve. I had almost lost my heart seeing so many videos which practically took no where in understanding the basics. Till edit page it was relatively simpler as I knew about it already, to some extent, as I had tried using some free software. But YOU are the only help who has a mind bogglingly simplest and straightforward way of narration. Just to express my feeling after going along with this tutorial - "FUSION is no more a CON-FUSION"! Thanks once again!🌷
Ditto, Daniel I am 60 and love Music Engineering so I get it immediately. Thank you for this lesson in decoding the "Davinci Code". I have been on the sidelines watching and using elements of fusion. Never has it been explained so clearly. Kudos to you!
I sped up that "wawa" sound in All Along the Watchtower a long time ago just messing around, and it sounded like "So nice" - it was cool. I think that's the one anyways - been a long time - one of his crazy guitar effects. @16:20 - the way I think about things like Merge node is that some nodes are nouns and some are verbs. Merge is a verb. A function.

Hi Daniel, greetings from India. At the age of 74, I started learing Davinci Resolve (Free version). Your videos are very helpful in understanding the software. Thank you so much😊😊😂
you are such a great teacher Daniel, if possible make more such videos on making different effects in fusion tab in DaVinci. Your teaching style is just out of the box, super amazing. ❣❣
Hey Daniel, I am from India and my language is Hindi. We have so many Davinci teachers on the internet who teaches this in Hindi. But the way you simplify this complex software, in English it's really really unbelievable. Its even easier than my own mother language. 😂 I even doubted myself that weather I will be able to learn Fusion or not, anyday soon. 😅 I don't know how to thank you from the bottom of my heart and God bless you. Keep up the good work.
Hi David Excellent tips as always, I started my channel in January and your channel was instrumental in me getting started the right way. Really great tutorials that I can easily understand. The changing speed of clips is something I’ve done but now I know just that bit more to make my workflow better. A great full Uk TH-camr 🙏
Thank you so much!! You're amazing! I've watched other channels on davinci but gave up because they moved too fast or didn't explain it which made me just get even more confused. However you took the time to fully demonstrate and explain everything in detail! I'm so excited to give davinci a try again because I can understand it now! Thank you again!
This video was amazing!!! Thank you so much Daniel for explaining it so super simple. You sir, are an absolute legend!! I’ve watched a tonne of your videos and will continue to do so but making Fusion seem less intimidating is my top by far. Keep up the good work young sir 👌👌
Pleased I found this video. Working through it now after watching it through. Very well done and a great explanation. Definitely worthy of subscribing to you so I have. Thank you!
Thank you Daniel, I watched your video at a later date. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks Daniel

HANDS DOWN THE BEST INTRO TO FUSION, I am learning this for my own channel :)
Glad you think so!
12 hours in and I can VERIFY the exact line you said -
" I don't exactly know what this tutor is doing with this specific node, but hey he is using a Merge and I know that from Daniel, so let me just try to figure out this specific node "
Hi Daniel, greetings from India. At the age of 74, I started learing Davinci Resolve (Free version). Your videos are very helpful in understanding the software. Thank you so much😊😊😂
I love hearing that! I’m really glad this made sense for you. ☮️❤️
Your videos are so informative and helpful. Thank you for teaching us so much.
You are so welcome!
you are such a great teacher Daniel, if possible make more such videos on making different effects in fusion tab in DaVinci. Your teaching style is just out of the box, super amazing. ❣❣
Will do!
you are a greater explainer and master in simplifying things
Thank you!
I don't know how to thank you from the bottom of my heart and God bless you. Keep up the good work.
I love hearing that! I’m really glad this made sense for you. ☮️❤️
What a great teacher. Thank you so much Daniel !
My pleasure!
Your way of explaining things is absolutely 'king Brilliant! Subscribed!
Welcome aboard!
Your tutorials are priceless...
Thanks 🙏
Hi David
Excellent tips as always, I started my channel in January and your channel was instrumental in me getting started the right way. Really great tutorials that I can easily understand. The changing speed of clips is something I’ve done but now I know just that bit more to make my workflow better.
A great full Uk TH-camr 🙏
Sweet! Glad this was useful.
I’m visiting the UK as we speak ☮️
Thank you so much!! You're amazing! I've watched other channels on davinci but gave up because they moved too fast or didn't explain it which made me just get even more confused. However you took the time to fully demonstrate and explain everything in detail! I'm so excited to give davinci a try again because I can understand it now! Thank you again!
Thanks, Charlene! I’m glad this was helpful ☮️❤️
@Daniel_Batal you're welcome
You are a legend, honestly.
Oh man, this was a really good one. I learned about bins and I learned more about how to manage keyframes too. Thanks Daniel! Great job!

Pleased I found this video. Working through it now after watching it through. Very well done and a great explanation. Definitely worthy of subscribing to you so I have. Thank you!

Thanks, mate.
I started my Gold Prospecting TH-cam channel last year, and let's just say it's a poor man's channel 😂
This year I bought an DJI Omos Action 4 and a DJI Mini 4 Pro.
I chose DeVanici Resolve as it has great reviews.
Im glad I found your channel because this Live taught me so much about nodes, and you explained it very well.
I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks Daniel

This video was really great for understanding the basics of fusion and helped me to start trying a few more things. I hope you will make follow up with a bit more intermediate to advanced features as well.
More fusion tutorials are on the way! 😎
Daniel, this is excellent. I have been watching videos about DaVinci and yours is the best. Oh and I'm 75 and this old dog is learning some new tricks from you yungems (is that really a word?).
I think ‘Yungens’ should be a word if it isn’t. 😁
