    I like the 21 front and the 22 back.

    Only thing about the new RS package is the only wheel option is the Black wheels. I've had other Chevy cars with the RS package all black paint with bright Aluminum wheels. Thought I would like the new 2022 Equinox RS but not a fan of Black wheels. So Looking at a 2022 LT with the 18" wheel option.

    I have a 2021 LS model I bought back in February. I've been enjoying it here where I live in Florida. I've been getting 30 mpg in the city, highway about 37 mpg.

    My dealer tells me there is massive difference in quality difference between ones build in Mexico and ones build in Canada. (Mexican build have a lot of quality issues). Also don't expect these engines to last past 100k miles. If you buy new, trade it in before then, a d if you're on the marked for used, stay away.

    The lights are even more ugly.
    But all other features are awesome.

      Its a refresh so its mostly the front and rear end. Just some small changes.

      @@ChevyCLE I think the addition of the stop/start bypass button (next to the emergency flasher button) is a HUGE improvement over the previous model. I was going to buy a 21 just a few months ago but I found out I could not turn that stop/start feature off so I said nope, gonna wait.

    The outside of the suv is beautiful but the inside of Chevrolet's vehicles are always ugly.

    Great Equinox 2022 for Boston, MIami and the whole country… cool video

    Stop/start is very dangerous. When the battery or starter fails after it shuts off it leaves you stranded in traffic and if you have already taken your foot off the brake you might roll into a busy intersection with no way to get the vehicle out of the way. Normally when a battery or starter fails you are somewhere safe but with stop/start you will not be. My step son had this happen twice with the 2015 Malibu we gave him, once with the second battery and once with the starter. Not only was it scary but it costs a lot of money to get the car towed and repair it. On my 2019 Equinox I always shift to L and then click + until the display shows 9 (use all gears) to over-ride the stop start. Got about 36k on it now and the battery and starter are still good.

    • @garymeredith3610
      @garymeredith3610 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have done the same in our 2019. Once you shift to L and hit 6 times you are all set. I will enjoy the button in our 22' tho.

    No 2.0 avail anymore. Power was nice and exposed exhausts. The RS had dual mufflers on each side at auto shows. Not anymore since no more 2.0L.

    • @ChevyCLE
      @ChevyCLE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like the 2.0 will be something in the future. They are redoing it.

      @@ChevyCLE Why not just use the LSY that’s in the XT4. That was rumored what they were going to do. But obv ended up not. Would of been a good option until something new comes about. I know, most consumers go with base motor. That’s with every make/model. The cheapest variant sells best.

    Thanks, I have a 2009 Equinox with 146,000 miles. Thinking it might be time soon? Glad you can turn off the auto stop start, but do you have to turn it off every time you get in the car or does remain where it was last?

    I’m sure the Homelink system (Universal home remote) was part of the Confidence & Convenience package? Normally it’s there on the overhead console

    • @brandoncallahan5099

      Universal Home Control is only standard on Premier Models (Both Drivetrains), alongside the Fog Lamps are only for the Premier Models.

    Not a fan of the infotainment screen on the LT models. I like the screen on the Premier much better.

    • @lisa4662
      @lisa4662 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just got the 2022 LT and it has the same upgraded 8” infotainment screen as the Premier because it had the infotainment 3 plus package added (must also have confidence/convenience and advanced safety package). So with added packages on the LT, you can get a lot of the same features as the Premier. I’m just missing the leather, Bose speakers and power passenger seat.
