I just purchased this exact Trailblazer where I live. The white with black trim really pops! I traded in a '16 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk wihich was a nice little car but this really felt like a large step up once I sat in it and took a test drive. Our other car is an Equinox and this is just a smaller, sportier version. I feel you can't go wrong with Chevy. I've had this car about three weeks now and love it. It has a nice pickup, much smoother ride than the Renegade with many more options. The price was very affordable for the RS model. We live in a beach community and this fits right in with all the other sporty vehicles in the area!
This is the exact model I’m looking for. I’ve got my eyes on the grey with red color roof. I just need to test drive it.
However, I’ve had my eyes on two other vehicles, Jeep Compass High Altitude and the Hyundai Tucson Limited.
@@Glad2BGolden I've owned a few Chevy's and a few Jeeps in my life. You can't go wrong with a Chevy and the Trail Blazer is a nice one. Waiting at a traffic light, I actually had someone ask me to pull over and answer some questions about the car, they were so impressed with it. My opinion as you car shop, after owning a Wrangler and Renegade, the problem being a Jeep rides like a Jeep. The Trail Blazer is a much better ride. Good luck!

I bet the black with red top looks sharp too! So many people stop me to look at it. I drive all day for a living and this is perfect. The drive is amazing with the turbo engine no one can bet it only has 3 cylinders.

They should re design the antenna into modern shark fin for a better over all look.

I bought this exact one today and im so excited !!!!! As far as the 3 cylinder engine I got the package that has turbo so it runs like a 6 cylinder, its so much fun to drive with plenty of get up and go !!

Kimberline, I'm searching through the options of mini SUVs and this attracted my attention... Can you tell me what that rectangular hole is over the instrument panel (front almost touching the windshield)? I think it was a sort of Head Up Display, but I've seen other reviews of night driving and nothing lights up from there.

I like it, but Chevy will have to do a LOT of discounting to be competitive. $31k for a front wheel drive? Compare to the CR-V EX. $27,760 and it comes with a sunroof, heated seats, adaptive cruise and full Honda Sensing package. It’s a much larger vehicle, more powerful, quicker AND more efficient. 28/34 rated, but we’re seeing 31 city and 35+ at 75 mph highway.
It is the top selling SUV right now for Chevy.
Its a no for the crv Honda.
I test drove one last week, really amazed at the peppy 3 cyl engine and the excellent way that the CVT trans felt. Don't bad mouth the 3cyl till you take a test drive.

@@bextar6365 That's what I heard. I like the styling a lot, especially the RS. I just hope the reliability on the 3 cyl won't be an issue. It would be nice if it at had a nonturbo 2.0 4 cyl.
@@dougchan8161 The styling does look good in person, better than the larger Blazer model. My opinion is that the base model and one up is not a bad deal, moving up the line the price gets crazy. I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL model with a 2.4 non turbo, it's larger with more cargo area and all the safety features included. $26.500 it is a much better SUV for the price.
Bought mine June 5th and I love it so much I get so many compliments all the time .

Looks like a Koa Seltos, but better! But the Seltos is a available with 4 cylinders. I will reserve my judgment until the reliability data starts to come in. Here is to hoping is good!
this is hard I mean i feel like the only issue i'm seeing is the 3 vs 4 cylinders... and like if you plan on driving long distnaces it really doesn't matter

I like it, but I feel that they should’ve put a bigger motor in it instead of a 3 cylinder. Same with the blazer. Would sell V8 or perfromance V6 versions.
A 150 hp 3 cylinder would suffice.......the RS should be a 225 hp 4 cylinder turbo no less. Somewhere Jeep engineers are laughing their asses off. And Ford!
I was surprised of the actual pick up when driving the Trailblazer.A Four cylinder turbo would have been nice but I would recommend the drive.
This is my trailblazer in the video and I was surprised to see this 3 cylinder turbo engine get up and go! I love it, it handles so well! I like to speed and this is fun!

I have a 2017 Chevy trax and I’m really considering trading it in for one of these. My Trax is super basic. Love my car but this would be such a nice step up.
I want to know because I’ve been looking at the Chevy Blazers and the new Chevy Trailblazers. I want opinions between the two of which one is better to get and why? I know the Trailblazers are smaller and are a little better for gas mileage, but I want to know between the two vehicles which one is better to own and why?

Just now saw the 2021 Trailblazer commercial and watched this video. First: WF with the 1.3 3 cylinder 130 HP engine? I love my 2005 Trailblazer, 4.2 straight 6 Vortex. Just pulled a 12 x 6 Trailer w/about 13100 lbs of furniture last weekend...can the 2021 do this? Live in the Rockies and go in the mountain roads often 4x4/AWD...what is the 2021 height clearance, or can it go off road? I WAS excited about the Return of the Trailblazer but after watching this video I’m disappointed in GM/Chevy for mutating the 2005-2007 SUV of the Year to a mini-morphed SUV replica of Tonka Toy. BTW; my 05 with 167k still going strong, can Chevy say this about the new 2021 15 years from now?

There is a video on TH-cam where the guy takes this trailblazer 4x4 off road in Colorado and u can see how it handles. It did really well and made it up some steep tough terrain.
I wish this came out back in 2016! Now I’m stuck with my Cruze lol!

For all the people who have one, I'm going to be getting this same suv in a different color in a few weeks but my one hang up is back seat room. I'm 6'4 and my wife is 5'10" and we typically drive with the front seats all the way back. We have 2 kids between 3 and 7, I'm worried about leg room in the back seat for them with the front seats all the way back. Do they have decent leg room in back?

More budget friendly so it comes with different options. It's two completely different vehicles.

My 95 Toyota Tercel made it to 320,000 miles... 2003 Matrix - 310,000... 2010 Corolla now at 181,000... this 3 cylinder with CVT?

@@ChevyCLEHow well 3 cylinder with TB CVT hold up long term at 150, 200, 250,000+ miles. Tercel, Matix hit 300k, with 2010 Corolla, 2006 Civic (my daughter sold to a friend) at 180,000 and 206,000. All 4 cyl with 4 spd auto trannies.
@@robertstv8045 I get it! I've seem them do great already. The one in this video actually has over 10k miles already. Something we won't know for some time!
@@ChevyCLE Time will tell. My daughter just bought a 2016 Civic with CVT. Was OK with it as Honda corrected early issues with CVTs. Her 06 has 2.0 4 cyl. No turbo. Honda has had 1.5 turbo issues.

@@ChevyCLE U r correct. Good marketing. Brazil's Trailblazer is off the Colorado chassis. GM has Trax-T-blazer-Blazer-Equinox made in Korea-Korea-Mexico-Mexico/USA. Lower wages was always GMs goal.
