badass! you can easily practice room clearing in games such as pavlov, onward or h3, so to see actual personnel training with this is cool. hopefully they dont get defunded to the point of not having this anymore though... actually, might have already happened
Less then a decade, laser tag will be out of business, and it will be an empty room with a bunch of larpers having the time of their life. I'm somewhat happy to be in this timeline
Timeline isn't the correct word.
@@studtistics2448 No, it is for me.
@@TheOrangeRoad that's like saying the past is in some parallel universe. We're still on the same "line", just at a different point.
@@studtistics2448 they could also be saying that they're happy to be in the timeline where VR and holodecks will eventually take over laser tag.
@@studtistics2448 I'm very aware of what it means, and the fact you explained it exactly how I implied, means I did well.
Allow me to explain to you now: There is a large running joke that is all over the internet about what timeline we are on, stemming from the mandela effect. Was it the Bernstein Bears, or the Bearinstain Bears? Loony Tunes, or Loony Toons?
So therefore I made a joke about how I was ok with being in this timeline.

I do this on the Quest 2 all the time. Mapping of real environments and using simulation weapons instead of remotes is a step up for sure!!! VR is really the future of gaming and many other things.
@Jackoftrades the Quest 2 is a wireless VR headset that maps out the play area automatically. You can get attachments that turn your controllers into a fake rifle or handguns for a more immersive experience. Some people even play outdoors with the headset
Yes, the only real issue here is this is step 1 to using cyborg cops. Imagine a robot being remote controlled from a police station.
I get too sick in VR, can't enjoy it :(
@@idk8964 everybody does at first your brain adjusts to it after a while
@@idk8964 i also was sick in vr at firs but after a while i started to grow so called vr legs so my advice start with short games like wave shooter where u stand in place and just shoot things do 15 min game session then do 10 min break after u start feel comfortable in that type of games try something with teleport to move an see how it makes u feel if its ok same deal play 15 min 10 min break and keep increasing intensity of vr experience dont forget do regular breaks not to overload ur brain .
