- Today I’m going to tour you through the biggest VR arcade in the world also known as the VR Star Theme Park. It just opened its doors in Nanchang China.
They have three floors filled with VR goodness. More than 40 simulators are ready to go featuring a Beat Saber arcade machine, roller coasters, flying simulators, bumper cars, high speed racing cars, a slide, a broomstick and much more.
This is heaven for every VR enthusiast looking for the ultimate thrill. The final test to find out if you have developed a pair of strong VR legs.

I like that they use face covers to keep the experience sanitary. I always wondered about that. All vr arcades need to use this model.
But you still have the head strap exposed. Seems like the perfect place for lice to spread.

@@peterschornstein1450 You could always wear some sort of head cap/beaine type of deal. Or its not a problem if they spray the straps down each use like I did with the baseball helmets when I worked a theme park when I was 17.

I imagine parks like these on a way bigger scale, and the Integration of augmented reality so that you can walk around and see the things in the games projected in real life

Alten towers have a real roller coaster that you wear a VR headset on, it’s pretty cool

I literally live in Nanchang and I knew this place for a LONG time, yet I didn't know it is THIS awesome.
I have a feeling that something like this will be the future of humankind. With the living space that gets smaller especially in the city people can still feel sensation of wide space that not only can be sensed with vision and voice but even with the whole body. Imagine when you can have the sensation of running along Chinese great wall or skiing on alp mountain while you actually are inside your home with one room of only 4x4 m wide. That's amazing experience

Kinda expect they had a ride like this seated up to 8 or so and instead of a headset it was an encased pod car that went all dark with a large screen in the front wall. The entire thing lifted several feet up and moved all around with hydrolics, very convincing and so fun. This was in the 90's so nothing new here really except for the headsets at least with the rides. But Oooo have they just barley started you can be sure. Soon there will be no comparison

I love how in this video - he starts to get VR disorientation/drunk you can tell @5:10 look how much he stumbles, the CEO of Pimax moves about 2 meters "a little bit of motion sickness" "Nah Nah" *stumbles cant talk :D. Its caused by going from RL to VR... as soon as he got that mask back on he transformed! Love the idea of these Parks, but for most, they won't be able to handle as much as this guy took. Great Video!

Imagine Disney and the other theme parks in the U.S. being empty like this place Monday thru Friday. Japanese people are known to be workaholics, yet Tokyo Disneyland has been packed everytime I've been there; mostly mid-week.

Got my Oculus Quest a week ago and I'm just blown away by how far this tech has come in the past decade

How long did it last? I'm talking about like how long till it got damaged or lenses got scratched because I don't want to get the oculus quest 2 to then just break in 2 months.

Not taking away from your experience, but I live in Japan and there's this place we go to called Joypolis. You don't need the VR headset, because they have huge screens all the way around you and they have water and wind effects that blow on you too. It's so cool! My favorite one is the airplane ride!

Edit. Also on another note I think the ride at 11:20 could be improved by blowing the user with a fan like they did during the bungee jump one.

i’ve played the matrix but with other ppl, and it wasnt vr and we had armors that if u shoot them with the gun they make a sound which tells ppl ur eliminated, and also changes color and u can replay after like the 10 second cooldown, it was so fun! especially with classmates
