This needs more attention for sure. Surprised I haven't seen any of my favorite VR news outlets cover this as it's been out for 2 years. Hope things are going well!
Excellent use of location-scale VR Have you considered putting up removable boxes and partitions in the location, to simulate the walls / furniture in the simulation?
Thanks :-) Yes, there is pro & con for this, pro in terms of training is the feedback, con is the tracking and possible damage to equipment and humans.
@@RefenseVR Is it profitable? I would imagine it'd be difficult to get police departments to use this when airsoft or cheaper alternatives are readily available.
For the public the training does not make much sense, it really has a serious background. I'd recommend playing a game at a TrueVR Virtual Reality Center worldwide. Where are you located?
@@RefenseVR what part of pain don't you understand. I want to feel a negative response to a negative situation (getting shot) Vr is largely about immersion. And the ability to train to avoid the pain is a wonderful concept

In this game the cops get to review what they did and learn that what they did may be correct or need some help but if this game were played by civilians they would show the cops that what you did in a traffic stop just buy one and in honest million and guns blazing shooting 1st and asking questions later about how not to be a tyrant may trigger some cops to do better and the ones dead don't want to be a cop and just want to shoot people for them to be let go willingly.
I’d love to see more law enforcement training like this.
this is the biggest transformation that has happened all over the world since about 2 years in law enforcement and military training
I wish onward vr servers were like this. Not a 9 year old gunman that opens fire on his team and runs out in the open :/
lmao. and yeah they should add a police gamemode, that would be poggers
@@zafrulza6728 that’s not what they meant.
Try tactical shooter vr
@@seebarry4068 thats more coop
Try tactical assault vr
This is how the future‘s gonna be, this is the WAY!!
Thanks!

I noticed it’s full body tracking.
What trackers are you guys using?
"As you can see the virtual world has become so real to them..." I doubt that my main man narrator lmao.
do law enforcement vr training in bonelab
This is pretty cool, i wonder if it'd be available to the public soon
Just got an oculus quest or a valve index and play pavlov
@@laxcpd yeah even better with a haptic vest and gunstock for your controllers
@@laxcpd onward or tactical assault vr* pavlov is like cod not like ready or not or ground branch
If a vr version of ready or not comes out they shoumd use it
Shouldn't be that hard to port it, they just nerd to beef up their backpack pcs
I'd pay big bucks to try this
Which VR equipment you're using?, is that HTC or Oculus?.
Optitrack with HP Reverb
I've seen this video a couple months back and I had no idea it was actually in Zurich.
I wish the public could acess this training game.
And then there's me playing Swat 4, Ready or Not and Ground Branch.
I recently bought Onward for VR. Let's see if it's good.
May I ask what headset is used I'd like to think it's a quest 1 but I have no idea
The Zurich location is on Rift 1, all newer locations on HP Reverb
@@RefenseVR I take it you don't use the reverb controller's due to them not being the best.

This needs to come out as a game, and be available for gamers. I would buy it for sure.
That is a different thing
But I played something which looks like that "door kickers 1 and 2" 3:45
