Royal enfield super meteor 650. 24-2 is booked. Which has not come yet... I call the customer care but there is no answer. Sometimes your bike will arrive in the last week of August.. and sometimes your bike will arrive in the last week of September. No one answer is the same. And every time gives different answer.... so now give some suggestion
A few facts and observations based on my findings and research... First of all this is a cruiser bike and not easy to maneuver in heavy traffic, it's like driving a car... Not a good choice for chapris who wants to race in the traffic. Waiting period - Less in south and east India like 2-4 months waiting for the rest of India minimum 3.5 months to 7 months. Please note - A normal booking waiting period is more than make it yours booking... Verified by RE support team. CONS - Issues with chain sprocket, you will notice in all videos that the adjustment is kinda weird and it shows in the last adjustment settings which means if the chain is lose you have to get a new one so avoid pushing this bike aggressively. Break shoes - Almost 4800 rs with GST for front and rear, you can buy this locally and Rs 1300 each... Go for Tvs or similar brand. Front foot rest - Difficult to operate in rainy conditions so get a Harley Style long footrest for the front. USB Charger - placement is weird. Shock Absorber - rear ones can be adjusted so please keep it on soft setting like the lowest it can go... The front one from Showa cannot be ADJUSTED. LED indicators are missing so best to upgrade but you will not see this option in make it yours, you will have to use the ones in Hunter which comes with chrome finish again not something I will recommend so just get the LED bulb. Rear number plate placement - It's very low and in bumper to bumper traffic the cars will not be able to see it... Solution - get the number tidy and adjust it. Search number tidy for super meteor 650 and you will see what I am talking about after all that big fat tyre is bigger than the bikes in the same category. This bike has a huge road presence and one should consider taking a test drive before doing the booking. Take it for a good 15-20 mins spin on the road... Test hard breaking, feel the torque in low gears, try maneuvering is slowly to feel how it behaves in heavy traffic condition, check if you are able to manage the heat from the engine, it is not designed like Interceptor or Cafe racer so basically your legs hugs the engine... Lastly, once you get the delivery keep 15000-20000 Rs extra for accessories... The bike is 241 kgs and having heavy accessories is a must... Go for Zana, Bikology or Sans accessories. I have seen a few of them and the quality is good. Zana needs to work on design... They are still using the old design patterns on most of the products. Thanks

First of all thank you very much Aman veerji for such nice compliment. Yes you can go ahead and buy this bike if you want to go for premium and comfortable cruiser bike. also the price is justified for this massive 650 cc engine.
In Hyderabad waiting is 9 months now on this bike. Many people cancelled & booked the new Triumph & Harley. Looks like RE is focusing on exports only for this bike.
I have booked the triumph but will cancel the booking... They are currently focusing on growing the network for sales and service. Do not compare these bikes with a Super meteor 650...NO doubt the new Harley and Triumph are good bikes but what RE has done to this bike with the fit and finish will surprise you. You will love the wait... Have patience buddy. 👍
Not buying only because of ridiculous waiting period. Will buy an avenger for now and save for a real cruiser like a Harley or Indian. This bike isn't worth waiting for that long for me.

Royal enfield is very crap company... I have booked super meteor 650 in february but still not able to deliver it to me. And compny creates demand. And it says that production does not happen due to booking. I am a royal enfield fan... I bought 4 royal enfield bullet 350 in 5 years... But now it seems that the company is not a family company only selling bikes.

Yes. Aadat hp jaati hai but slow speed pay heavy feel hogi.
No! My wife is 5'4" and her feet don't touch the ground on my Celestial Red! She rides a Honda Rebel 500!! The seat is much lower!
