What you dont specify are 2 things which are very critical 1 the gear lever is placed in such a way that changing gears from top to bottom becomes a challenge 2 the heat radiated from the engine is pretty strong which makes city driving quite tiring
This is touring friendly, another point is it needs a smooth roads and it is difficult to get. In Delhi, and nearby northern places the roads are good, one can truly deeply enjoy this celestial machine
The thing is that the handle don't go to extreme left or right (turning radius is too high - only made for highways) , so I chose Himalyan 450 which is performing at it best. Just saying as i test drived both.

The 6th gear (top gear) on a vehicle is supposed to be an overdrive gear, which is engaged only above a particular speed. The 6th gear is NOT expected to pull at low speeds BECAUSE it means that it is NOT serving the purpose of an effective Overdrive gear and thereby it will affect Cruising/coasting fuel economy.
Deep bhai...tripper navigation is standard across all models of Super meteor 650 One more con is only 15.7 liters fuel tank...gives you a very limited range of max 200 km in city and 240 km on highways...needed a bigger tank for sure. Turning radius is very big due to the length of the bike...

About the heat from engine Its not possible to ignore it.i just test rode for 30 minutes & faced Mumbai stop.go traffic & the heat was A LOT My legs just got burnt when it accidentally touched the engine black cover PLS NEVER WEAR SHORTS WHEN ON IT

I got the Celestial red, and I absolutely love it. It's my first bike, but I test rode about 5. People always comment how great it looks and sounds. I take my wife for rides on the pillion which is very comfortable. You won't regret buying one. It's a beautiful bike, and built like a tank!!

I own CB350RS, it's definitely the best among these 3 but lack of service centers is a pain. Ronin is overall a great bike but lacks the power although it has almost the same power as other 2 but it has low torque which makes is as good as commuter. Meteor 350 is a great bike but their service quality ain't that good. So if you have the budget and want a good overall bike, i'll suggest you Meteor 350. And if a Bigwing service center is nearby you, just buy a CB
honesty throughout the review....your USP Deep bhai.....loved the video...i was going thru the specs of Truimph speed twin 900 cc...inspite of having a larger volume engine, it doesnt have the horses which the BMW 850GS has at about 7500 rpm. The Super Meteor 650 on the other hand has a proportionate better spec given its 650 cc Engine. What are your thoughts on the Truimph 900 cc Speed Twin, considering its price in the sub 10 lac range. Would love to hear from you. Also do you know anything about the OEM lower suspension setup with the low seat on the BMW 850 GS, I mean they do that setup on demand or what. Have you considered the service cost of BMW? I was going to buy it too, but then I came to know that its service cost is 8-9k...and if you have any issue with the bike, then it costs 25k, nevertheless, congrats on your bike.
Two more and major cons of this bike is lack of tachometer plus 16"inch rear wheel, better if provided with 18" as in Meteor 350 which should help in giving more ground clearance.

I own a car and want to purchase a bike which can cater up my city-based commuting as well as highway touring. I am looking for something which gives me DRIVING-BASED COMFORT and RELIABILITY (That it wont break down in between journey). I have no intention to do any off roading. I am a big fan of Strell, Bulu Patnaik, and obviously my brother Deep Ranjan and I love ADV bikes. I have a budget of 3 Lakhs and my first priority is Himalayan, Scram 411, KTM 390(Last priority due to price). I also like Yezdi ADV, but RE is more reliable and historical proof of reliability compared to Jawa in terms of service and parts also keeping pocket friendly in mind. So, which bike you suggest me to go ahead?(I live in Bangalore)
If you're not super pressed about CCs Xpulse, Honda hornet/ CB200x is a good option. Xpulse isn't super comfortable and comes with tube tyres and since you don't have off road requirements it shouldn't be first choice. CB200x is a good option from Honda. Very comfortable, tubeless tyres and most electronic supports that you need.
Scram 411 and himalyan has same engine only difference is ground clearance 20mm less than himalyan but since you don't want offroading then scram has good clearance for city rides
@@avinashojha35 yes, you are right, my friend. I too thought about it. But again I realized that there is no much difference between BMW 310 GS and KTM 390 ADV in terms of price. From power, durability, and performance perspective, KTM 390 ADV is better option than BMW 310 GS in same price. My budget is 3 Lakhs for the bike and I need to keep a budget for aftermarket accessories too.

Once you ride super meteor you will never think about a sports bike 😂. It's too comfortable to ride❤️.
I think this is the bench mark setter bike in the 650 segment and also the reliability of Royal Enfield .

You can also consider BMW 310 GS
