    hows your shoulder now? what caused you to get the surgery in the first place?

      Shoulder is 100% now. I can do anything I want with it. I injured my shoulder when I had it yanked hard and then jammed back into the socket.

      I wish you the best of luck. With both your shoulder and knee, it will definitely be a tough 2-3 weeks. Just take it slow so that everything can heal properly.

      @@diadomodiadomo694 I didn't take any special supplements - just my normal diet and vitamins.

    Are you fully healed now

      I am! It's been two years since my surgery. My shoulders are equally strong and both have the same range of motion.

      @@ftate that’s great to hear. I’m literally waiting to go in for the surgery.

      Just take the rehab SLOW and don't do anything stupid to injure it while you recover and you'll do great (with a screen name of @theanimal400, I feel the need to warn you repeatedly). You need to make sure to build up all of the muscles of your shoulder and rotator cuff. There are likely several that have atrophied because of your injury. So just trust in the slow recovery and you'll be better than new.

    How do your biceps compare now after the recovery? Does one look different than the other??

    • @ftate
      @ftate  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no difference at all. I can't tell any visible difference between how they were before and now. There's just a lot less pain :)

      @@ftate did the pain go away 100% or you think there is still pain

      @@fahadblack98 Yes, the pain is 100% gone, and has been since about 18 months after surgery (IIRC). I work out every day, including range of motion stretches, etc., so I know that has a lot to do with it. If you have pain, quit doing whatever causes the pain. Once the pain is goine, do some light stretches and go see your doctor or physical therapist. The shoulder is an extremely complex joint that requires a mix of mobility and strength in a number of muscles, tendons and ligaments, and all of those muscles and ligaments have to have balanced abilities. Any imbalance can cause weird movement that can lead to pain.
