    My neurologist suggested I go on lions main. I already eat them in the fall when I could find them in the woods, so I love them and his suggestion made me happy. I have been taking a supplement now for 20 days. The nephropathy I had in my legs has gotten better and I am down right happy again. My 4th burnout lasted only hours thanks to the Lion's Mane. I took the first 500mg capsule the night before I woke up in the morning recognizing the familiar sensation of having burnout. Took the 2nd 500mg the same morning wishing it might shorten a day or two the sick leave which has prior taken weeks at least. The same afternoon I noticed the burnout was gone. I'm highly sensitive (hsp) and it probably explains the pace of the affect.
    I've taken it daily ever since without any side effects.

Unfortunately didn't work to me infact made me worse. I stopped taking it 2 days a go I feel much better. I felt like it was a black cloud on top up me all the time and even thought of suicide. It was so scary but I thought it might be side effect for a short period but I got worse.

      I've started to take 20 drops of lion's mane extract, in the morning and in the afternoon, 3 days ago. But it gave me a hard time falling asleep at night. So now I quit taken it in the afternoon, and I'll only be taking 20 drops in the morning. I hoped it's not an insignicant dose and I still can have benefits. But to me it is out os the question to take it at the afternoon or at night, becausr it stimulates my brain so much, it's like a super strong coffee to me.

Why haven’t I incorporated lions main into my lifestyle and the answer was because I did not like the way it looked but after doing some reserved reading, and watching your video as well as others on TH-cam, and finding out the benefits of lions mane I will definitely be adding lions main to my diet once a week along with all the other mushrooms that I eat to supplement for me so thank you so much I look forward to your next post. I thank you for your clarity and then your explanation. Thank you so much continue to do good.

    Why do some people get devastating anxiety from Lions Mane while others don't or even get relieved?

  • @Dodgerzden
    @Dodgerzden 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    At 64, I am having a HUGE problem with short-term memory. It's like I'm someone I don't recognize and it seems I can't go 1/2 hour without forgetting something. It increases the time spent on everything I do tenfold because I am constantly misplacing something and spending more time looking for it than I actually spend on the project I'm working on. I can't leave the house without forgetting something I need to bring EVERY...SINGLE...TIME. And I'm constantly sabotaging myself by screwing up everything I do. An example would be like sitting on the toilet looking at the phone, wiping my ass and putting the paper in my pocket, and throwing the phone in the toilet. Or I'm changing the hinges on a door and notice I put them on backward. That's not so bad. But taking them off the door and putting them on backward two more times IS bad. In baseball that would be a strikeout. It sounds funny, but it's not if you continue to make similar mistakes ALL DAY LONG. So I'm taking methylene blue and am starting on lion's mane and I'm hoping desperately that it's going to help.

      There isn't much information about taking the two together. Both supplements are generally considered safe, but individual reactions can vary. Monitoring for any adverse effects is important. Some users prefer to cycle turkesterone (e.g., 8 weeks on, 2-4 weeks off) to prevent potential tolerance buildup. However, Lion’s Mane can typically be taken continuously, but individual preferences may vary.

    Anyone considering taking lion's mane would be smart to do some research on the possible side effects. These side effects include: genital numbing, sexual dysfunction, anhedonia, insomnia, and serious neurological issues. Beware!

    I feel like there's a new "superfood" every few months, but only a few ever made it past the hype stage. The caffeine, creatine, and protein stayed, but the list of overhype superfoods is endless.
    Acaii, beta-alanine, testosterone boosters, BCAAs, CBD oil, detox this, metabolism turbocharger that, HMB, the list goes on.
    Studies that show any benefits are funded by the companies making them, and studies that show no benefits are not published because it was funded by the companies making those foods/substances and they don't want evidence to the contrary. Until a large meta-analysis of studies that were funded by neutral parties shows a decent benefit, I think you should all save your money and not make the same mistake I did.

    if you wanna know what hollowness, emptiness, lack of drive and borderline chronic depression feels like, then this is your go to, i wouldn’t recommend lions mane or ashwaganda to my worst enemies, there’s a few videos online as well as a sub reddit community of hundreds of people wishing they never started on either of these and how hard its been to get back to feeling like their normal self. STAY AWAY FROM THIS.

    • @MartinFire13
      @MartinFire13 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its just a supplement. Relax. People complain about everything. You read things and panic and think it's happening to you. Whatever you tell your mind your body will follow. People took drugs like cocaine and heroin and were able to recover. It's not that serious dude. Your body is a healing machine, no natural herb will harm u unless you're ingesting some sort of chemicals put in the supplement. The actual problem why you would have side effects. Just listen to your body and not the internet...the internet is a dark place for people to make stuff up with no real evidence

    • @Dustandfuzz
      @Dustandfuzz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They must be allergic. People with mold allergy should probably stay away from mushrooms. I took ashwaganda and it made no difference. Just took my first lions mane. I do have a mold allergy but might be able to take lions mane as I can eat button mushrooms from the grocery store without any problems.

      Guessing they were taking concentrated tinctures. I'd say too much of any medicine can have negative effects. I'm looking to try Lions Mane for added diet supplement but couldn't imagine using more than a pinch in my morning coffee.
