As an MS patient for 23 years I’ve embraced natural products for my wellness. Lion’s mane as well as 5 other medicinal mushrooms have been the perfect compliment to my regiment and keeps my MS in remission
Would you please share what brand you are using or are using using fresh? I don’t have ms but I have moderate to severe arthritis of the spine with 2 serious surgeries. I’m very stiff at times with fatigue. Trying a tincture right now unsure how effective it is.
Take black walnut/cloves/wormwood as m.s patients have parasites in tye brain and on their spine I've seen a doctor speaking about this to someone who has done 1000s of autopsy on M.S patients
I didn’t value the effects of Lion’s Mane until after I stopped taking them. I started forgetting things and found myself overthinking the littlest things. When I started taking them again, I just felt very calm and aware.
@@lobodek I had a bad trip in October I think I just took too much, and I’ve been scared to take psilocybin again.. but I’ve been thinking about it recently and think I’m ready to take at least a microdose of it again.
I've been on it for about three weeks 500mg once a day, positive effects on focus and sleep But gastric discomfort appeared by third week, facing issues like bloating and flatulence but gastric issues subside on stopping the dose, so use it on and off depending on your response.
My neurologist suggested I go on lions main. I already eat them in the fall when I could find them in the woods, so I love them and his suggestion made me happy. I have been taking a supplement now for 20 days. The nephropathy I had in my legs has gotten better and I am down right happy again. Haven't seen a brain memory improvement yet, but I haven't been on it that long. May start growing my own.
Wow, that's surprising... a neurologist recommends an herb instead of pharmaceutical drugs. I'm sure your neurologist is not at Kaiser... they push pharmaceutical drugs like it's candy.
@@HapillyMe Bon-Secours neurological science center in Greenville, SC. Dr Benjamin DO. My restless leg syndrome almost gone, legs better. They think I have Lewy Body dementia. I have quit hallucinating and acting out my dreams, but no change in short term memory. I found a source for fresh ones!
My 4th burnout lasted only hours thanks to the Lion's Mane. I took the first 500mg capsule the night before I woke up in the morning recognizing the familiar sensation of having burnout. Took the 2nd 500mg the same morning wishing it might shorten a day or two the sick leave which has prior taken weeks at least. The same afternoon I noticed the burnout was gone. I'm highly sensitive (hsp) and it probably explains the pace of the affect. I've taken it daily ever since without any side effects.
I'm a brain cancer patient, glioblastoma. I want to repair some of the damage caused by radiation treatment but I'm concerned that the neuro-regetative effects could stimulate cancer cell growth
@NickLersen I have to be careful what supplements and what treatments I choose even though lion's mane may be neuro regenerative with an aggressive brain cancer I don't want to regenerate and stimulate brain cancer cell growth after talking to my neural oncologist we thought it would be a good idea for me not to take Lion's made for that very reason.
I started to take lions mane 2 months a go. My anxiety and depression got worse. Hardly I could get up from my bed and couldn't go to work for a month. Unfortunately didn't work to me infact made me worse. I stopped taking it 2 days a go I feel much better. I felt like it was a black cloud on top up me all the time and even thought of suicide. It was so scary but I thought it might be side effect for a short period but I got worse. I heard so much benefits of lians mane but my opinion and experience I think lions mane is not for everyone.
I've started to take 20 drops of lion's mane extract, in the morning and in the afternoon, 3 days ago. But it gave me a hard time falling asleep at night. So now I quit taken it in the afternoon, and I'll only be taking 20 drops in the morning. I hoped it's not an insignicant dose and I still can have benefits. But to me it is out os the question to take it at the afternoon or at night, becausr it stimulates my brain so much, it's like a super strong coffee to me. Thank you for the video, from Bahia, Brazil!
Thank you for the info I am plant base and have been for 18 years I was just kicking around today just doing general things in the house, and I thought came into my mind. Why haven’t I incorporated lions main into my lifestyle and the answer was because I did not like the way it looked but after doing some reserved reading, and watching your video as well as others on TH-cam, and finding out the benefits of lions mane I will definitely be adding lions main to my diet once a week along with all the other mushrooms that I eat to supplement for me so thank you so much I look forward to your next post. I thank you for your clarity and then your explanation. Thank you so much continue to do good.
At 64, I am having a HUGE problem with short-term memory. It's like I'm someone I don't recognize and it seems I can't go 1/2 hour without forgetting something. It increases the time spent on everything I do tenfold because I am constantly misplacing something and spending more time looking for it than I actually spend on the project I'm working on. I can't leave the house without forgetting something I need to bring EVERY...SINGLE...TIME. And I'm constantly sabotaging myself by screwing up everything I do. An example would be like sitting on the toilet looking at the phone, wiping my ass and putting the paper in my pocket, and throwing the phone in the toilet. Or I'm changing the hinges on a door and notice I put them on backward. That's not so bad. But taking them off the door and putting them on backward two more times IS bad. In baseball that would be a strikeout. It sounds funny, but it's not if you continue to make similar mistakes ALL DAY LONG. So I'm taking methylene blue and am starting on lion's mane and I'm hoping desperately that it's going to help.

Dr Arsalan, how are you? I have a question, can I take Ashwagandha and Lions Mane at the same time? Is not dangerous right? And how many capsules of lion's mane do I have to take and at what time of the day? Thank you!
Yes, Lion's Mane and Ashwagandha can be taken together. It depends on the dose of the capsules and your individual response. I personally would take it in the mornings.
I also take lion's mane from Great network marketing company DXN...dxn products are good sir??? Coz in gulf county only can dxn thrown available..plz ans sir
There isn't much information about taking the two together. Both supplements are generally considered safe, but individual reactions can vary. Monitoring for any adverse effects is important. Some users prefer to cycle turkesterone (e.g., 8 weeks on, 2-4 weeks off) to prevent potential tolerance buildup. However, Lion’s Mane can typically be taken continuously, but individual preferences may vary.
I've heard so many wonderful things about ashwagandha & magic mushrooms but I can't easily get some, Is there any realiable source I can purchase from??
I was having this constant and unbearable anxiety because of college stress. Not until I came across Alexender, a very intelligent mycologist, he saved my life honestly
Can you research and recommend lions mane supplement that isn’t imported from China? Or are all supplements from China? Are there no reputable USA grown sources?🤔🤔🤔

Anyone considering taking lion's mane would be smart to do some research on the possible side effects. These side effects include: genital numbing, sexual dysfunction, anhedonia, insomnia, and serious neurological issues. Beware!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS.
Its just a supplement. Relax. People complain about everything. You read things and panic and think it's happening to you. Whatever you tell your mind your body will follow. People took drugs like cocaine and heroin and were able to recover. It's not that serious dude. Your body is a healing machine, no natural herb will harm u unless you're ingesting some sort of chemicals put in the supplement. The actual problem why you would have side effects. Just listen to your body and not the internet...the internet is a dark place for people to make stuff up with no real evidence
They must be allergic. People with mold allergy should probably stay away from mushrooms. I took ashwaganda and it made no difference. Just took my first lions mane. I do have a mold allergy but might be able to take lions mane as I can eat button mushrooms from the grocery store without any problems.
Guessing they were taking concentrated tinctures. I'd say too much of any medicine can have negative effects. I'm looking to try Lions Mane for added diet supplement but couldn't imagine using more than a pinch in my morning coffee.
