Seeing a lot of comments about "which brand do you recommend" and realized I probably should have mentioned it in the video! Of course, I recommend FreshCap (our brand) available on our website or on Amazon!

My question is this. I bought some lions mane powder as well as cordyceps powder. I am planning on mixing these together and put in "00" capsules, what I want to know is how many capsules do I need to take in the AM? I was thinking 2 of the mixed capsules. I also take moringa, turmeric and black pepper, I started making my coffee water with dandelion root (I French press my coffee), I am also on a BP med that I take. Can you help me out, need to know how many capsules to take of the lion's mane and cordyceps. Please advise.

I forage for chaga and reishi. I've been beating the brush for years now and found lionsmane once! In the wilds of northern NY state it's pretty scarce. I've be taking a tincture I made from it and my cognitive abilities seem sharper. I've been using chaga regularly , reishi less often and ginseng sparingly. I'm 61 soon and recently quit sugar and I'm better shape now than I have been in years.

Sounds very interesting and promising for the ability to stave off cognitive decline and minimize or eliminate the use of addictive pharmaceutical products. However, I am shocked by the use of Cordyceps by some companies knowing that that fungus is parasitic in other creatures. Anyhow, I am going to try Lionsmane which shows promise.

Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder years ago as a teenage. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Spent my whole life fighting cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later,

    • @VanRyan-bv7du

I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

Changed my life. I’ve struggled with ADHD and was put on amphetamines at five years old, I stopped taking them around 17 and suffered from psychosis for about two years. I found these mushrooms and your brand at just the right time when I was 21. I always refused to take medication. I’m honestly not sure where I would be if I hadn’t started taking lions mane, I definitely wouldn’t be living the lifestyle I am currently.
Thank you for making an amazing product.

Also thanks for the encouragement. You have been through so much to turn around s as BD give good energy to strangers is beautiful.
UPDATE I did the supplements for a month an loved them. They helped, but I got on an anti depressant and honestly, I don’t know what else could have come close to alleviating my symptoms. People have a stigma against Adhd, but I was holding on to stigma against meds. I officially stand corrected. Do the research, and get some actual help you guys. The natural things are amazing for supporting mental health, but if you have co morbidities, meds can help you get a grasp on life again.

Lion's Mane has been shockingly helpful for me. I've had chronic neck and back pain for over a decade due to injury, scoliosis, degenerative disc, and syringomyelia. I've also had a traumatic brain injury and have been suffering from depression. I took Lion's Mane simply out of desperation for anything to help, but I wasn't expecting much. After a couple of weeks use I've noticed a dramatic improvement to my mood and energy. My back pain isn't gone but I'm handling it much better and not having to lean on narcotics so heavily. I feel more alive - actually excited about things - something I haven't felt for a long time.

After hearing about Lion's Mane from both documentaries and the locals at my Farmers Market, I bought a supplement I found online with over 3,000 good reviews. I get seizures monthly in my sleep (which I take a presciption for). Neurologists have always warned that the medicine has a reputation for impacting memory due to all the neurtransmitters being dampened, hence my strong interest in Lion's Mane. The first day I took it was in the evening. The next morning I noticed that my FitBit measured more REM sleep and deep sleep than I've had since I bought the device. Sure enough, I soon saw an article that says Lions Mane is known to improve REM sleep. So you're right, can't hurt to take it in the evening!

Long story short I hated the side affects from the medicine which resulted in taking trazadone just to sleep. Since taking lions mane I feel true mental clarity. It feels clean and natural. I also sleep a lot better towards the end of the evening because I’m less anxious and I’ve accomplished much throughout day.

spirulina, chaga, miatake, shitake, lion's mane, maqui berry, grapeseed extract and vegetable juice/smoothies are my favorites. Celastrus seed extract and lion's mane with spirulina alone will give you enough energy to replace coffee all day without any of the jitters. I also like to take those mushroom complex extracts and mix them with white grape juice which is loaded with ormus so drinking that all the time with lime juice (which purifies your heart for those who smoke) will definitely provide a youth elixir and the vitamin C turns the beta glucans into sweet natural sugars! :D i would also look into maqui berry, blue spirulina, grounded orange peel and grounded lime peels. i like to mix em w/ the store bought smoothies

Not to be down on it (I'm actually taking LM supplement myself as very interested in it), but a study on 30 participants is very very very small in terms of what you can take away from it.
Unless the effect is really drastic and very clearly identified a sample size of 30 even in a controlled clinical trial is pretty easily dismissed.
You really need at least a few thousand to start really making any claims and ideally you want 10,000.

No Way!!! I just purchased a Lions mane grow kit and then did some research. Has been wanting to grow mushrooms and came across it by chance.
I have suffered an acquired brain injury after dropping dead in 2009 and having a downtime of about 8 minutes. End result is a very bad memory. Super excited to give this a go and see the
    results!

Love these videos! Thanks for the content. I've learnt a lot from this video.
I've been drinking lion's mane tea daily for the last 5 months or so. I make it from 20g of fruiting bodies steeped in 500mL of newly boiled water for 17mins. I do this as it's really easy and affordable to buy fruiting bodies here in Vietnam, compared to powder. Do you have any knowledge about the proper way to make tea like this? I feel there is a bit of a gap there on the English Internet after Googling around for it

Can you tell me more about using dried lions mane? I’ve been grating up the fruiting body and adding a tablespoon to teas...just curious if being dried decreases potencies? And if there are ‘better’ home uses? Thanks. I really appreciate your material!

Its often sold as a powder or in pills, so I'd assume its doesn't lose medicinal potency when dried

wait so i can't just use a dehydrator and then blend the dried Lions Mane into a powder in a coffee grinder and put into tablets to get all the benefits? i thought that's all the capsules were. so the capsules i've been buying at the grocery store have most likely gone through a water and/or alcohol extraction as well? i really want to get into growing mushrooms and making my own supplements so i'd love feedback

Is there a benefit of taking them with Niacine (B3) as Paul Stamet is suggesting ?
Also you are showing a yellowish Lion's mane. When I'm cultivating them with a growing kit their is this range when it goes from white to yellow and I'm allways wondering if it's better to harvest them as white or yellow

Kevin Bel, the niacin causes your body to enhance circulation throughout the body, and it does help distribute the Lion's Mane to your brain and throughout your entire body.

if the only obstacle in our bodies absorbing the ntf's is the cell wall. You could possibly extract the compounds in a much more straightforward way by tossing the raw, fully hydrated fruiting body into the freezer. when the water freezes and crystallizes, it will expand and burst the cell walls. however, a lion's mane popsicle sounds almost as bad as a lion's mane cookie does lmao

i started taking Lions mane supplement for 1 week. After several days I developed itchy skin in random places. After some research this is a known side effect for people who suffer from allergies such as hay fever, as Lions Mane promotes the production of histamine. So I recommend caution if you already have over active histamine levels due to other allergies

Someone recently recommended this and most of the studies I found show that over 90% of the trials and test were in tubes or on mice. I was more concerned with human side effects during and after stopping use. I see all of the comments but are the longterm effects and will we know if there aren't enough human studies to know
